alright guys here it is, back for round two with some good equipment.

Lights: 400w mh 18/6

Seeds: 10 Sensi Seeds Super Skunk Fem, 1 G13 Labs White Widow Fem, 1 Power Skunk

Room conditions: Lights on 86-90 ( little warm..) lights off 75-68.

I have two 10 gal dwc tubs with two 10" airstones in each and each tub with its own pump.

I germinated the seeds about a week ago and they were ready in three days. i planted last wednesday..i think. so were starting off from the very begining. so come with me on a magical adventure to find what lies in the bottom of my fireplace in 9 weeks :bigjoint:

ps: for all you nay-sayers that told me i couldnt use dirt in a dwc setup, well, we'll see how it goes

heres some pics for everyone.

4 days of growing and roots are already starting to hit the water!

im heading to a hydro shop i found in a neighboring town tomorrow to pick up some nutes and other things. keep posted. peace:leaf:

:-P its good to see al you guys in here

update! so the temps in the room were a little high today (90-91) so i set up the inline fan, i will eventually mount it but for right now its just sitting. Took a trip to the hydro shop i never knew existed! got a ecotestr ph1 ph meter, ph up and down, and fox farms 3 part nute system. plants are lookin great! almost all roots have hit water, so i ph'd the res to 6.0 and gave a 1/4 feeding on nutes. lets see how it goes:weed:

did u get a tempered glass for the hood? with that and incline you will beable to have the light like 7in above the canopy of the plants without worrying about the heat from the light, more light intensity, more growth

Nice, The 3 part fox farm is what I used for my fist two harvest. Very good stuff! Did you get a fan controller for that inline fan. That fan pumps sooo much air, sometimes I think it pumped more out then my 6". I had to get a controller and slow that monster down. Get those temps to 70-78 and you money! Maybe mount the inline up in the chimney and blow out the hot air straight out the house. When they start to bud and stink, throw on a filter if you paranoid. Looking better and better everyday with the setup. Mad Props. I will update my journal tonight. Have not had time......

looks great, good thing u added more holes,id carfully cut some holes out on the sides of the cups, use a hobby knife and carefully cut more holes, that way the roots will beable to grow all over and get more water and nutes, they may rot without extra circulatin water. i say that bc,the water will just stay in one place and not flow out. the trapped water will not beable to recirculate and get good again. u get where im goin?

I think he's saying that you need holes in the side of your cups. This will allow more air to circulate and allow more roots to escape into the water in the tub.
