So I saw this cooler in the trash and said "Why not?" So I took my clones from soil and put them in a root mix. Hopefully this setup changes with a cabinet in a month or so, but I'll use the cooler for something else.

So on May 1st I'll be 6 weeks into flowering. You folks think I should start flushing? The trichomes are still clear. Should I wait until they are getting cloudy and some amber before I start the 2 week flush?

No ray! don't flush yet.
atleast wait til mostly all of the pistils have changed colors.
Unless you're wantin the clear trich high. But it looks like you got a lot of flowering to do, trichs will be clear for longer than expected.

oh yeah, nice damn lookin buds!!

That's what I was thinking. I guess I was just hoping it would be ready by mid-May, guess not. Thanks pwizzle.

B&W Film from the 30s. Staring the Spider Mite...Bumbumbum!!! Film Noir at it's best. Ehhhh, so I saw one, killed it, and HAD to vacuum them up again. Got a few weeks to go. I just hope I can keep the population down.

Every few days I've been sucking up bugs. My own fault. Working outside and not showering and changing cloths before working on the ladies. The mite population is low and is still only on one plant (that I can tell).

The clones are taking off. Roots are getting about as long as the lil ones are tall.

I can't wait to get this cabinet ready and grow some Super Lemon Haze, Blue Cheese, and the freebies they thow my way. Check this Magic Hat beer cap I got. A sign?? One of my freebies was Exodus Cheese, so I'm gonna have a lot of skunk. I'm planning on picking up the cabinet on Monday.

Seize the Cheese lol

Yeah I did the same not showering and changing clothes and had mites in the very beginning of my grow. I have a few fungus gnats flying around now started using mosquito dunks in my water/nutes and the adults have a short life span so shouldn't be anymore of them popping out of the soil.

I wish ya the best, looks like we're going to have a crop around the same time.

Gnats suck. More annoying than anything. I had gnats in some of my soil grows. A lot of people use sand on the top of their soil. The gnats can't dig though it to the soil where they lay eggs. Also it's good to let the soil dry out between watering. Gnats love wet soil.

Yeah I let them dry out, that makes sense because I had a flood recently and that is when the gnats appeared.

I can't wait to get out of dirt and try my hand at hydro. It won't be long until I'm converted over...

It's so simple and easy. Then again, it can be a bitch. The plants feel the effects of nutes and ph faster than soil. So one day they could be fine, and the next you could be nursing a sick mama.

Yeah, I hope getting a PH and TDS meter will help with this. I'm looking into the sure to grow medium(suretogrow.com). So if I PH the nute solution 24 hours or so before I do the reservoir change it should be good. Just keep TDS and ph in check constantly. I can't wait to try it.

Mite problem could spread fast, but thank god I found it in time. That's why you always gotta check on them. And I got about 3-4 weeks. I hope.
