Hi law, I'm in a similar boat about the finishing/harvest

I'm growing wr and its been at least 2 months in flowering and i'm still not there yet. NO where even close to your buddage, those babies still look very eager with those long white pistils. I really hope I can get something like that going for my second try. i'm going to have to look back at your journal to see if i can find some key differences.

anyway I don't know about the mollasses, you should go for it. those girls look to me to have plenty of plumping left to do.

get a magnifying glass and look at the trichromes, and depending on what kind of high you like (or max potency), harvest then. I doubt you have a hint of amber anywhere from the looks of things.

it's 'crystal clear' that they are not ready ;)

nice use of the 5 gal buckets, did you perforate the bottom? (i figure you did...)

how often do you find yourself watering them? do you nute every other time?

yea, i drilled a bunch of holes in those big oranges 5 gls. I water every other day for the little pots, and every 3 with the 5gls.

I have been adding nutes every other watering, but im getting some minor nute burn, so i obviously haven't quite gotten the amounts correct.

Ill post pictures in a few days. They are plumping up quite nicely.


Oh, I also saw something off in one of the big plants buds. i pulled a little to investigate and found a few seeds forming in the buds. i searched vigilantly and could not find a hermi.
i cant find any more seeds in the buds, or at least can't see any thus far. so here is to hoping its an isolated incident.

as far as I'd be concerned, that sounds like an excellent bonus (the seeds)...i keep hoping to find a few.

might try your bucket idea next, i've been looking for a bigger planter...i'm trying air basket this (next) go round though, perhaps i could do a side by side. only problem is my closet is extremely slanted at the roof, so i can't really handle that much height
...actually i could use the 5gal in the front, airbaskets in back

so, you got a magnifying glass? :D

Eh law if you want to put some wieght nad stickiness to those buds add some grandmothers unsulphered molasses to your waterings about 1tbs per gallon...

I am going to go get molasses today if i can. Where is the easiest place to buy it? Do i need to go all the way to the hydro store?

Whats up Law, well the molasses is sold at any grocery store in the pancake section with the pancake syrups. Just look for a yellow jar that says: GRANDMOTHERS MOLASSES, but make sure it is UNSULPHERED. Just add 1 tsp to a gallon including your nutes....;-)

Harvested a branch last night. Tomorrow will be the end of week 10. Long fkin time for what was advertised as an indica.


I lost a ton of fan leaves due to a salt build up, and the size of the buds suffered. The buds are seeded for the most part, but that's a good thing because ill have a ton of the genetics.

Ive started some more seedlings and have tried some LST on them.

Also check out the flowering plant ive tried to train a bit.

Wow man, 10 weeks??? That's pretty long man, have you been checking the trichs???:hump: So how was the smoke, or did you just cut it tonight?

Just chopped it those 2 nugs last night. And i was skeptical too, but im seeing FIELDS of cloudy trics with my little microscope thingy. The amber wasn't heavy, but it was there.

I imagine i got a strain of NL that was more Sativa than most. Or just some other weed all together.

Buds smell sour like NYC Diesel. I cant wait to cure em.

Ive come upon harvest time. Took down 2 nugs last night for that 10% amber clear head high! the trichromes look beautiful on the cut buds. Im gonna let the rest of the crop go another week or so to get some more amber!


More pictures tomorow, Ill document some of this harvest if anyone is interested.

hell yeah penny. Those look amazing.

I'm harvesting the rest of mine around then too. The buds I already harvested were only about 5-10% amber, so I'm giving the rest more time to mature.

hopeing the money I'll save with not buying bud will amount to a brand new 600W & ballast for a flowering room. I don't know if i have it in me to go 4 months between harvests again.

looks really good.

i've been going at ~1% amber because i was going for less of a body stone, but you guys think I'm pulling too early? i still have one plant in the pot so going to compare smokes.
