400w Philips Metal Halide???

I managed to come across a case 6 bulbs of philips ed-37 mogul clear metal halide bulbs. The guy at my local hydro shop only deals with hps and swears against mh so he wasn't very much help with info. are these bulbs worth spending some $$$ on to use. I am using fluoro tubes right now to veg and i am happy with the results, would these bulbs be anygood to flower with or to use for the whole process???

i use solarmax gold mh bulbs for flower, lots more red spec, and they are fantastic.

the phillips will work well for veg, but don't have a super great lumen output.

so would i be better off buying a hps ballast system or cheaping out and just getting the mh ballast all i have now is 6 bulbs

Are these bulbs worth anything if sold on ebay or something??
