4th CFL Grow Indoors

I can't tell if you are taking pics in your grow area or not, but reflective material REALLY helps with a low number of lights. I have a pretty small box that's panda filmed and I'm running 2 23w CFLs, and my lil girl is lovin it. No stretching, awesome node spacing. She's growin a little slow but I think thats from the other problems I've been havin with her.

My grows before i got about and 1/8oz per plant on every grow. each time there was a stronger plant that yielded close to a 1/4oz. But as far as changing the light bulbs i usually give them to friends that want to start their own personal grow after i have used them once. i just invested in the 65 watt and its housing; i don't think i will be giving it away tho! anyways i came to this site cause it has a lot more cfl grows than others. i have also seen some nice grows on here with some really good yields for cfls.

Yes there are, I looked at some yesterday and today that were first grows and they used CFL's and their plants were amazing. I'm thinking that mega CFL you're rocking there ought to advance your buds a little.

When your plants flower are you feeding them molasses? That is the big thing around here, molasses makes the buds fatter.

ya i have mylar that i need to put up i have just been a little busy...

and no, i have never used molasses. i have read a little about it but was never sure of the results. What kind do you use and in what dosage/method of application? the FoxFarm big bloom helps a ton

I'm using a tablespoon per gallon of water. Make sure the bottle says "unsulphered" . Since I started budding there has been molasses in every watering so far.

I don't have any Fox Farm stuff, but I think I may be going to look for some. A lot of people here on RIU use fox farms nutes. They all seem really happy with their results too.

I love my Fox Farm but im gunna pick up some molasses once i started budding too. I am 90% sure that Lil Mama is a female now. I found two little thing's with 2 white hairs sticking out of them. So im gunna let it go another day or two before i confirm. I don't want to get my hopes up though.

I saw in your grow you were using big bloom for veg. why is that? wouldn't you want to use grow big? by the way good job on your grow

looks good so far,ill be tuned in,your durbpois will need to be lst since its a sativa dominant strain,my cats got to all my durbs a few years ago,your bags may surprise u,i got one bagseed that has a deep purple stem and its leaves as they mature are goin from green to pink,its beautiful in a way and its a girl bc it shot some preflowers the other day,im interestend in your grow and would love to help.

Look in the grocery store where the pancake syrup is kept, that is were it should be.

Just look at the ingrediant listing on the bottle. I should say "unsulphered molasses" that is the only ingrediant in mine.



While you are there, you should buy some of that Karo pancake syrup and try it on French toast. That is they best syrup ever !

I love how you just dropped some syrup name in your reply! LMAO!! We're all talkin bout bud and ur just like PANCAKES!!!! funny shit.

Ne ways your grow is looking fairly good. A few pics back I saw some burn on sum leaves. You might wanna tone down the nutes for that plant. And like everyone has said GET MORE CFL'S. I would suggest at least 3 42w CFLs per plant. If you cant find 42 get the closest size and keep them only inches away from the plant like 1-2".

i am thinking the burn if from not enough nutes. the plant will start using leaves from the bottom to feed the top. I believe this because i am using The Ultimate Potting soil which contains mainly coco peat and perlite and i have not even started using my nutes. I just found that FoxFarm feeding schedule and saved it

http://www.foxfarmfertilizer.com/soilfeed.pdf ; i am going to start applying it in this fashion but i don't have the tiger bloom so i guess I'll just be using big bloom and grow big. It says if you use the big bloom with the grow big it will help cancel out nute/salt build-up. I am happy to have found that out because i had a bad salt build up in my last grow....

I am gonna add lights and mylar later today and would love any more suggestions - Keep posting!!! Also i will take more pictures of the burnt leaf (close-up) for any ideas

p.s. - Kottonmouth Kings are the shit

okay, so i had to transplant the 2 bigger ones and the clone into bigger pots. i put um in 10 in pots. i i dont have room in the box for all 3 so i put the clone in a rigged box for now till i find out which one will be male if any. the clone started showing pistils; im not sure if its just showing its sex or if it just wants to flower...

did you ever get around to adding more lights?

on my 2 plants and seedling i have a 65 watt cfl 6500k and 4 26 watt 6500k cfls. i made mylar reflectors with cups and mylar. working nicely il add picks as they get bigger

i put them into the fox farm soil and into 2 gal bags. i will put them into bigger ones when i know their sex and they root in a little

thats a good idea. i have to get more creative with my mylar applications. i think my closet is really too big to use mylar on the sides. maybe i will huttle near a corner or something.
