I have a 315 3100k Philips bulb in a Nanolux Technology fixture.
Illuminating a 4x4.
I also have a veg and propagation cabinet that the Interior dimensions are 16"deep x 32"wide x 54" tall
In the cabinet I currently have an Apollo horticulture 300w Burple led, 100 epistar diodes.
I also have a 10" x 20" hard bottomed humidity dome that is 7" tall with a sun-blaster 16w 6400k cfl tube.
the humidity dome sits on top of the cabinet when in use.

I dont feel i have enough knowledge behind me to put together a grow gornal comparable to most on here.
Im currently useing tap water that has sat out in open 20liter water jugs for a minimum of 24 hours, usually not less then 48.
I have thought about a under the counter R.O. machine however, right now im wondering if ill also be needing to grab another ac.
I do have a wall mounted ac down the hall from my room
Cooler is always better right, right now my temps climb to a high of 28degrees Celsius, usally at 25.5 celcius without my wall mount ac running, spring like conditions.
I'm also considering a a/c for the room itself, shopping for a portable unit...a floor model? like my dehumidifier, Maybe get a Combo machine that does both this time, ac and dehumidifier in one for the room.
I'll also be looking to grab a 10' or 15' ballast to fixture cord, thus allowing me to remove the ballast from within the tent.
when i shoot my info-red thermometer at the ballast it reads a 41degrees Celsius.
so removing that shall make a difference over the 12 hours.

so I'm currently on day 69 of flower, I was thinking is give them 70 Days of light, then lights out for 3 days, and cut on the morning of the 74th day..
I pulled one at 60 days, after sampling a bud off it at day 55, it was the first to start flower.

I tried taking a couple pictures with all 3 of my digital camera's
However, with their zoom's - I'm unable to get any view of the crystals to see if they are clear, milky or amber
the hairs are about 60-75% brown
some new pistols are coming in with pink growth.

5 plants left in a 4x4 under a 315 3100k
spent the first 38 days of flower under a 100 3w Epistar diode Blurple Led.

Tell me what you guys think, are these plants Ready? Or give them some more time?

so it there on day 69, keep them going and look again at day 74 and re-evauate?, then potentially 3 days dark then chop and hang for 3-4 days until stems bend but don't snap, then into jars?

Give's me a couple more Flush's
potential lights out after day 77
78,79,80 Dark
cut and hung morning of 81

What I am also wondering is about pre-harvest trimming, is there a point that I can go threw and pull all the fan leaves prior to cutting and hanging
or does this just cause stress in the final days and don't do it?

Welcome to riu just my opinion 6-9 days 4x4 with a 315 is larger than I thought people did with a 315 but you got it done
Suggested coverage is a 3x3, I take that as wearhouse setting or open space lighting, multiple light.
I'm in a 4x4 tent with reflective walls...
light centered in a 4x4 is only 6" more on each edge.
Thank-you for the compliment.
The next grow will be the real test for me.
315cmh from say week 4 and on for veg the flower entirely under the cmh.
these spent the first 38 days of flower under a "300w" blurple led

Right now in veg under that blurple i have.
3 reg hash plant
3 reg Pink Gravy
and 3 Field of dreams that are all male at 3weeks- now to plant outside in the public.

I have never used a 315 or even seen one but I bet it would really rock a 3x3 you've got some nice solid buds there I'm going down to a friend who is running 315s I might get a loaner to try out

Sounds like a good plan bud
To maximize Sometimes I like to stagger my harvies and clip on a nugget to nugget basis or when doing sativas sometimes a staged harvest like top then middle then lower, but for this, what I would do, is, leave it all for another week or two unless you're out and if so, cut a nugget a day, til your jewellers loupe or macro shot of the trichs ex sows you're at your desired level of amber (10%, 50% etc)
But then again, that's a long time, what are the breeders suggestions?

As per cutting leaves, the carbohydrates stored can help foster a better cure but at the same time the very outer leaves store some toxins if toxic life was endured..

So depending if you want to do full stage harvest, and a slow cure for taste and smoothness, or a fast cure cause time is killing you, you have some options there for sure

Either way, awesome way to break in the new light..I would keep rocking it in a 4x4 and just push your training and veg time a little more and you're gonna be really happy. Start doing 2-3 month veg's with cola Dom species and mainline them for 10 tops a piece and then for lst types I'd top em once and really bend and train til you had 8 plus tops

You will want to leave it longer to dry than 3 to 4 days I doubt for 1 minute your stems will snap after that long. Maybe a week to 10 days and they'll be snapping
