Damn, and I thought my seed collection was impressive. I humbly bow before you, sire. I'm seriously jealous about the Chemmy Jones, and Sour Hazy Jones I see there. You need to get those going, STAT! If you ever decide you don't want to run those, PM me...
haha yea, I just popped the Chemmy Jones, I'll keep ya posted.

Very nice collection indeed. I also agree with your opinion on Fem seeds. There for awhile I thought I was alone. Like the grow and info about lighting big help elec here is super high. Keep up the good work. Aloha

I cut the hell outta these and no such stress happened. They took off if anything, and had a spurt of growth. I switched the bulbs over to HPS yesterday too, so from here out they will get HPS red spectrum light. That's anoyther thing I'm testing....starting flower for the first month with MH, and then switch to HPS for the second half. I'm seeing thicker, denser, flower set doing this.

Looks like you found the same thoughts about triming during flower to be bad! Well its not in fact its good to trim up
All that unwanted lower stuff! And at about week 4 hit it again and watch your upper colas exsplode!!

about 4 weeks to go. I 've been usuing mostly Age Old bloom on this batch. But I never use a nute line by the book. I always switch around and use what I think they need the most. If all is going well, I stick close to the label. Usually, I feed only my own teas, but right now, with outdoor harvest going, I don't really have time.

IMG_4482.jpgIMG_4481.jpgIMG_4479.jpgIMG_4480.jpgIMG_4483.jpgI tell you what, these plants are definitly harder and denser than usual. Grape Ape always is, but these are real hard, and so are the Maple Leaf. I think the Blue spectrum at the beginning had something to do with it. Any ideas??

IMG_4544.jpgIMG_4543.jpgIMG_4541.jpgIMG_4542.jpgIMG_4545.jpgOK, Here's the only down side I see so far....the corner plants are starving for light! 3 out of 4 of the corners are very weak and small, 1 was dying even. Next time, if there is a next time (I'm sure there will be), I'll leave the 4 corners out and have 12 plants instead of 16. Other than that they are coming along nicely.BTW, I have an 8x8 indoor grow going too, and I don't see any difference in the growth with the different lighting regime. It seems that the loss of light hours has no real effect on yield, and you ARE saving some power, so I think I'm sold on it. I'm gonna run my Romulan inside the 8x8 next time on this schedule too, and then I'll know for sure.
Both tents are in the middle of week 5, and they seem to be doing pretty well this run. I'm fighting with a couple mites here and there, but nothing major. I'll be doing a full clean-up and sterilize after this run.
I also pulled the glass off my hoods and shut the inline fans off in the 8x8 tent to get max light to the plants. It's cool enough now I can get away with it.

Romulan is a indica isn't it? Those look like some sativa dom. Just cause I seen on attitude but they could be wrong on that like a lot of descrip..... Very nice though! Wish I could smoke some grape ape again I liked it..........................Do you think root space had something to do with those corner plants not doing well? Even though the feeder roots should travel but they had the corners to battle instead of middle plants. I just had the thought when you were talking about lack of light to them but I agree with ya lack of light is no good scragly buds.
Nice new avatar

Noooo Romulan is not an Indica! It's listed as 99%Indica on 1 site, but that's a White Rhino cross(not real Rommy). The real deal Romulan is Korean and South American genetics, with a tad of Affie, and then chosen for quick flower times and density over many generations. This cut is waay Sativa Dom, in most of it's traits.
As far as my corner plants go, I think it's light for sure, the roots are ok in the other ones on the edge, and actually, they all have plenty of room.

yea, I'm not really sure if there's any difference between Vics Rom that Sub used and this cut. The description on the Flav is really close but the Flav looks a little different. I think it's a little more crystally, but not as fat and heavy.

No its not the same, your best bet is bc bud depots. The canadians are known to have harbored the federation cut long ago, and bcbud depots is bred from the federation cut, its the closest you will get in seed form.

Not saying the flav isn't bomb, its one I really want to try.

I'm veggin some bcbuddepot rom now too, bout 6 weeks old.

hmm idk for sure, who really knows, all I know is, this one I have is not indica, and it's not the White Rhino cross. I'm not really looking for a replacement, or to find it in seed form personally, so I'm not sure which one is the closest to mine, but I know that the one I have is what I want to keep! I'm trying to find some interesting phenos in some F-1s with Agent Orange and these Vortex. I'm gonna hit her with a male Space Queen if I can find one that I like in a 10 pack, and if not I'll back x it and keep looking in the f2 batch for a daddy. The Romulan is my staple cut that I grow regularly.....it's the bomb!!
