What's good everyone. This is my first grow and my first grow journal.Seeds; I have a slew of awesome seeds, however for this particular grow, for a trial, since I'm a total Newbie, I'm playing with the free seeds they gave me, in addition to two blueberry's I purchased.

I have two tents... Setup is as follows
(1) 4x4 tent
(1) 1k HID (Metla Halide and HPS) w/ Cooltube reflector (Apollo Hoticulture brand)
(1) iPower Fan 6" 442 CFM + Carbon Filter
(2) DWC Tote Bins; 27 Gallon,and 17 Gallon
(1) General Hydroponics Dual Diaphram High Output Pump
(2) Clip Fans

Other Tent
(1) 20x36x60
(1) Platinum LED P300
(1) Ventech 190 CFM + Carbon Filter
(1) DWC Tote Bin, 10 Gallon
(1) Marine 50 1.5 Watt airpump (I know, that;s a problem, 5/11 I switched to an Active Aqua 4 outlet pump (Currenlty using all four but plan on splitting to another 10 gallon tote in the near future)
(1) Small fan near the intake vent.

Prior top writing this, I popped the bag seed beans about two weeks prior. One I germinated in a paper towel, once it opooed I stuck it in MG soil. Just to see what would happen.
The other I stuck in a rockwool cube a week later after i bust it open in a paper towel (Didn't soak in PH water) then put it in the DWC with 1/4 strength nutrients. They sprouted and beagn to grow.
Finally....
I got my other seeds in the mail and this is the day i began my true journey. LEt me tell you off hand, since I'm writing this joural three weeks in... The free seeds that came this fucking suck. Eitehr that, or I have the hand of death. But anyway, follow me on this one.
I soaked my Rockwool cubes in PH 5.5-6.5 water for a few hours. I took a PH reading while the soaking rockwool was in the water and the PH was high. So I adjusted the water again, while the rockwool was inside. Soaked for another 15-20 min. Then when finished I actually dipped them in another PH water solution, this time with GH's Rapid Rooter inside of the water at roughly 1/4-1/2 strength.
I set each of my 3 free seeds in there plus my purchased blueberry seeds.
I put them in a bootleg humidity dome, using the plastic bottom of a food tray and the platic bottom (that I used to cover them) of a refrigerator door (From a super small refrigerator)
Originally I set them in the smaller tent where the other two plants were growing, but after a few days of seeing nothing, I set them on top of a radiator and finally saw a sprout.

I've been checking on my bagseed. BAGSEED#2 from now on we will refer to as BS#2 since it's the second one I planted and respectively BS#1 is the first one I planted.
BS#2 seems to be suffereing from something. I don;t know what but the very end tip of the leaves after the cortelydon things seems to have yello brown tips. It's not easy to see but since I'm studying them, I've noticed everything.
BS#1 seems to be growing well.
I still don't see jack shit going on with the seeds I put in the rockwool. I am impatiently getting worried. I'm starting to feel like I should have just done the paper towel method. Sticking to what you know, never hurts.
In fact, this day I was so anxious, I had to open up the starter cube to see what was going on... And what do you know, there was a tap root inside... HASTE MAKES WASTE. Hoping I didn;t fuck anything up.

I woke up and... SAW SPROUTS.... YAYYYYY!
And this was probably a little premature of me but I now transfered all my seedlings with the rockwool cube into the small tent under the LED light.
5/3 - 5/11
I forgot to log in this info so I'm going off memory.
The plats seems to be doing okay at first, then something wrid happened The two blueberry's (lowryders) which are the ones I paid for are growing at a far superior rate than the others. And one is growing much faster than the other. Everyday I'm seeing new growth. Roots are growing and reach and touch the water.
Auto Amnesis just stopped growing. I mean she just stopped, I'm not seeing any new root development or anything of the such. Her leaves are tuning yellow. I cant figure it out.
AutoJack seems to be doing okay, he's growing the first serated leaves. I'm seeing root growth, inside the netpot. Nothing coming out yet.
Same thing for the Auto AK and Diesel.
BS#2 is booming, it's getting large very quickly, it's growing roots into the water at a very rapid rate.
BS#1 - I had the genius idea of translplanting this plant into the hydrosystem which came to be a total disaster. I stressed the roots out way too much and I don't think it's going to be able to recover. I mean it's really fucked up. Leaves are drooping and changing colors and shit.

BS#1 Is finally looking better. It seems to be stretching a little bit, and the set of leaves on the top node, although arent large, are perking up and i'm seeing slight growth.
Amnesia is still fucked. I have no idea why I haven't thrown her out yet.
Blueberry's are growing well but for some odd reason, the smalle rblue berry has light colored spots all over it and the leaves are curling upward. This inly for the first set of fan leaves. The others are fine. This is also for the smalled blueberry plant which doesn;t seem to be grwing very well at all. I'ts remaining pretty small. I don;t know what's going on.
BS#2 I still growing like crazy. I'm actually wondering weather or not his/her leaves are blocking the light of others.
The reservoir was looking thick and gross so I changed the water and added 10 ML of Hydroguard and 1/2 tsp.flora nutes/ gallon a per growweedeasy.com reccomended scheduling for the stage my plants were at.
At this point I'm ready to transfer a few plants into the big tent. So I'm thinking the two blueberries and BS#2.
I use a sterlite 37 gallon tote and an 18 gallon tote.
I fill it up aiming for 400PPM nutes. So I put 74 ML of each Flora Trio Nutes and 10 ML of hydroguard.
For the 18Gallon tote 38ML of Flora Trio each + 10 ML of hydroguard. My nutes got to about 394 PPm and that was fine with me.
I put the two blueberry's in the 18 gallon tote and the BS#2 in the 37 Gallon Tote. I plan on swapping out the plants later, Remember, the BS is just for fun. I later plan on putting the other three plants in there.
Now, whilie filling up the totes with water I noticed a HUGE problem. The totes buckled under the water pressure. I had to dripp loes on the sides of the tenmt towards the top, run string through it and tie it together to hold it together. Just so I can get the lid to stay on. I would not reccomend anybody ourchasing these totes. Get a more heavy duty one. Which I ended up doing in the upcoming days.
Also, I have turned my 1k light down to 50% at the ballast. I figured I'd wait to turn it all the way on once I get into the flowering cycle.

Fuck this shit, I bought new Totes. The last thing I need is for a fucking flood from 37 gallons of water spewing out everywhere.
Now I have 27 Gallon Totes and a 17 Gallon Tote.
I also decided to Mainline via Nebula's instructions. I mainlined the bagseed for practice. I think it turned out the way it should. I had a hard time counting nodes because some of the growth tips had gotten pretty large and I couldn;t tell the difference from one to the other.

Auto Jack is looking bad. She had sprouted roots, they had gone into the water, then suddenly she stopped growing the roots and the root growth near the top of the net put is looking thin and dry. No idea why.
Auto AKxDiesel which had just stopped growing, the rpoots never hit the water is kind of looking alittle better as well. The roots are growing. Although EXTREMELY SLOW. They are growing. I've seen the growth with my own eyes.
BS#1 Is progressively getting better. The leaves are finally perking up and I'm noticing it has grown new roots. I think the old ones are dead. I threaded them through the net pot a while back but it didn;t seem to help. I see the new roots popping out of the rapid rooter cube I put around it when I first transplanted it.
I also cut off the ugly seeds that were on my under developed blueberry plant. Joping that helps with something.

This is what I'm noticing so far. All the free seeds I had received seem to be doing horrible. They all have extremely slow growth with the roots. They all seemed to start growing, stop for a while, the roots died, then suddenly (maybe from the hydroguard) more roots emerge and grow.
FINALLY Amnesia is showing life as her roots are starting to sprout out of the net pot.
I'm sorry that my journal has been jumbled up so far. From today on, I will have much better and concise information.a
