so i went out and bought this stuff called Superthrive which has worked out well in soil for me in the past.
within a day or 2 the roots had doubled and are looking extremely hairy.
So i noticed the lower leaves are turning a light green and the 1st set that pops out when the seeds first start are yellow. The stem looks to be peeling check out the pics to see what i am talking about, and some leaves have very light yellow spots appearing. i switched out the water and gave it 3 drops of superthrive, and my gh hydroponics flora series, 6 drops floragro which is the green one, 4 drops flora micro the dark red one, and 3 drops flora bloom the pink one, checked ph it was too high then i added a little too much ph down so i brought it back with ph up.
anybody had this problem with the lower leaves, or have some suggestions?kiss-ass:eyesmoke:

the skin peeling and lower leaves dying is normal. the lower leaves receive less light than the others so the plant kills them off to divert energy elsewhere. im not sure what causes the peeling, but it happens often. that closet looks like its going to be a fun time for you!! good luck!!

everything is going good so far except the heat from the 150 watt hps keeps the room around 85 and at night lately its only dropping to 79. should i let the leaves fall off or should i cut them, i read if you cut them it stuns growth:eyesmoke:bongsmilie

The leaves are yellowing because of a nitrogen deficiency. You're talking about drops in a 5 gallon bucket bro. You should probably be giving them milliliters at this point. ;-) What's your target EC?

I would top the plant now, and tie down the branches until you've covered a decent footprint (2' x 2') and then flower.

so what do you recommend for nutes, i fill the bucket up about 2/3 full i add those amounts and get worried i am adding too much i am new at this setup and don't want to screw it up now:joint:

:hump::joint: So now things are making sense i have been reading about pph and had bought a meter to test it but i was confused. so i have switched the water again but this time i added the proper amounts of nutes, there is about 3 gallons of water i added 9 teaspoons of flora micro, 6 flora grow, and 3 flora bloom, then 3 drops of super thrive and adjusted ph. now the water looks like tea and checked ppm and its at 1410. leaves are yellowing a little more and based on the help i received and what i read i am pretty sure it was nutrient deficient. also i invested in a portable ac to help keep room cool. here's the pics after i did all the above hopefully in a day or two it will be growing like crazy

1410 ppm is way too high for a young veg. plant. i keep my plants in veg at around 800 ppm i get to around 1400-1500 ppm the last weeks flowering before harvest. you may want to cut down on the nutes a bit

And i veg at 1200 and go much higher (2000's).. Strain matters...

yes strain does matter. you may want to double check because a lot of haze varieties are nutrient sensitive.

plant seems to be getting taller daily check out the pics

only trouble is heat cant keep it below 85 and humidity is at about 30
doubled up on my air pumps to give the plant more oxygen, so now there is a 3, and a 4 inch airstone inside

:confused:when should the pistils arrive or be visible
