Hey there new grower!

Good luck and happy growing
:peace:
Hey Gary if I show you a pic of my grow every day will you cuss me, tell me what a moron I am, and kick me squarely in the nads when I screw up? That MY kind of motivation ;) Good post sir.

I'm a neophyte but I'm getting some good results despite my occasional miscue.

That said I'm a voracious reader and there are so many methods, opinions, 'experts', etc, out there I can see why it might be overwhelming to someone new to the discipline. Something that I think has really helped me, believe it or not, is a background in structural design and my favorite hobby is cooking. I can read a set of prints or a new recipe and go 'well that makes sense' and give it a run. Once I've recreated someone elses success that's when I start to put my little twists and tweaks on the finished product to make it mine. So I'm going to add in to the new growers out there. Step back and read the forums as well. Find the people who have successful grows (grows as in multiple not someone who got lucky once) under there belts and read what they have to say. Try to reproduce exactly their steps to success then when you've gotten a few under your belt tweak it to your satisfaction.

If you really want help send me a pm and I'll help you along the way. Kick you in the junk a few times if its needed, but then slam a beer with you and smoke a joint to celebrate your harvest:hump:

Keep in mind, I have a fucked up sense of humor:fire:

Dang, missed it, I'm starting to think not all my watched threads pop up when there is something new, or I checked it out baked and forgot, at any rate glad your back off punishment lol:peace:
If you miss an alert on a watched thread it will quit giving alerts on that thread.
Just click on the watched thread link at the top of the page and check it every once in a while.

My thread actually shows a mistake I made. I used a new peat base that was a bad batch or something.

I actually dug the plants up, trimmed the growth, trimmed the roots and planted in a new mix.

Cannabis is a hardy plant.

Dea could reschedule mj today....... Doubt they will, but they could.......
First I've heard of it. Can you link me a source or should I just Google?

Hey Gary. As a neophyte is it a good idea to pick my plants up in their pots at night, gently rock them, and sing them a lullaby? I love my little plants and don't want to go all Tommy Boy on them ya know? ;)
