You have a nice setup!
I know nothing of hydropronics,
is it easy?
How much for a full set up?
How does it differ from anything else?
What kind of lights?
Just share some info mate!
Thanks!

Will be looking into this!

Thanks...actually those are at my Uncles house. I am finishing up my grow room and waiting for their arrival later this evening. That naughty little girl is going under my 1000 Watt Raptor hood. Those are "dontated" to me and will come in the buckets and that is where they will stay. So basically the set up is simple. Air stone, air line, small pump, 5 gallon bucket, net pot with some hyrdoton (these are in rockwool and then surrounded by hydroton) and some nutrients. I like Advanced Nutrients products, but whatever you like to use is fine. That set up is probably around $30-$40. Just add water...LOL

Your light, with digital ballast and HPS bulb for flowering is around $680. But that is what I am doing, not necessarily what has to be done.

Nice ol Bud... this set up is very easy by the way. Sorry, forgot to answer that one. I have seen many diagrams online for bucket set ups. I prefer hydro to dirt because I would rather not screw with all the mess. Just my opinion, some swear by dirt and others love hydro or even aeroponics.

That is about as big as all of my current plants that are 35 - 45 days in flower. :(

It is my first grow with rando bagseed so I gave them very little veg time to speed up my first harvests. I also only had a 400w in flower the first 2 weeks until I upgraded to 600w. :o

Bag seed tends to grow hugh and massive colas, sometimes in the end it lacks pungent and potent colas from my experience, I grew some big mamma jammas from bag seed I was ecstatic at how big they were, in the end it wasn't anything special as far as high grade, I hoope for the best, cause them roots are sic!!

Bag seed is all luck of the draw. I've had a couple that turned it monsters, but mostly they've been scraggly sad-looking sticks.

It makes sense when you think about it. A bag seed comes from a plant that was grown near males, which means quality wasn't the main concern for that grower. Chances are the genetics weren't that big a concern either.

That's exactly the reason I got into hydroponics in the first place, it was so hard to find really good bud grown by people who really cared about how good it was. When you get the right genetics grown in the right environment and fed the right nutes, it makes such a huge difference. After a buddy of mine introduced me to a really primo hydro I knew then and there that I was going to have to grow my own and do it right.
