50-100 wat hps

I'm researching small pc / cabinet grow cases and wondering if a small 50-100 watt hps can be put inside these and utilized with a power strip of cfls as well to assist with undergrowth and such. How hot do the small hps's get? do they still need a ballast? anyone have any info / guides on these small micro grows, stealth is the main factor over how much will be yielded.

all hps lamps need ballasts. ballasts get hot. i just set up a very tiny box 2x2x3 ft with a 150w hps. i have 2 intake fans and 3 exhaust fans (all $5 pc fans) and the temps never get above 82. thats with outside temps about 70-75. keep the ballast outside the room itll help keep temps down. as far as guides to build a box...
