50% clear 50% milky white, how long to harvest?

I am unsure how long my ladys have been flowering now. (But its somewhere at week 6 or 7 i believe) But in the latest test it seems the ratio of trichomes seems to be 50/50 white/clear. How long is it likely until harvest? My problem is that i will soon need to leave for about a week, and will not be able to check on the plants. And i dont want to come back to overflowered plants. Is it possible to say anything about how long time is left? Or is it completly based on strain? Im using a 400W dual spectrum HPS

Pictures would be great, At this point if your not sure(and as stated you have to leave soon) Go ahead and flush them, wait a few days and chop them... I doubt you will be disappointed.

Happy harvesting,I still have 3wks left can't wait for my cheese!

If you're in 'week 6 or 7' it could be anywhere from a week to 4, Milk is right........^^^^^^^
Pics would really help.

If its a sativa then I would pull it when they are about 50 to 70% milky sometimes. Indicas I like to let them amber a bit. Pics are very necessary though

They are unknown strains. I think two are slightly more sativa, and three are slightly more indica. I will return with new pictures tomorrow when lights are on again. Thanks for all answers.

The harvesting/curing section has a pic thread "is it done?" That might help you ... cn
Well, i know they are not done. They are not ready for harvest. I was just looking for an estimate on how long it might be until harvest since i will have to leave for a period

That depends on a ton of factors mostly genetic, also medium matters, hydro generally finishes faster than soil. Some people will leave their plants in a dark period to enhance trichome development or whatever. Ive tried it and been sortta pleased. Anyway if you only have to leave for like 4 day then just water them and turn off the lights when u get back they will be a little dry and ready to be hung and dried then cured. Thats if their super close to done but not quite there. I know im gonna get shit for it but i was in a similar situation and it saved me from trimming plants right before my plane was leaving.
Just an idea
