veg room 6x6.5x7.5 flower room same lighting in the veg room i have 6 cfl lights for the babies 6 for two mothers that i kept from the first grow. 6 for the seedling section and 6 for my aeroponic cloner. flower romm has 2 400w hps and a 1000w mh room temp with the lights off 68 degrees with the lights on 77-79. hum. 35-45 never more or less. drip system for the moms and babies ebf for the ladies. started with some really really really good mid grade bag seed and the first grow the hydro grown bud was not as good as the bagweed and i only got about 1/4 oz per plant? i use co2 with a climate control system with a co2ppm monitor> the atmosphere is not my problem. air flow - hym - temp- odor is under control. why did my bud not even come close to the looks or bulk that i started with. in theory i thought i could make something good better?

I would suggest getting some better genetics. It doesn't make sense to spend $5000 on your set up and use mid-grade seeds, or other bag seeds for your grow... over fertilization can make for bad yields also. What is your feeding schedule, ppm levels etc? The more info the better...

well the way i thought if i'm going to grow i better start with the best equip. i am a automotive and heavy equipment diesel technician. and have been buying tools all my life why start cheap and then have to upgrade? my flower room i have on a 12/12 cycle i flood the table 6x during that cycle. the ph is at 6.0 - 6.3 never more or less. the ppm are at 1420-1460 with foxfarm nutes and soluables. super thrive for a kick in the ass. the veg room on 18/6 temp at 80 deg and hyd at 45-55 ph at 5.8-6.1 ppm at 1130-1180 on a dripper system for every 3 hours for 20 min at a time

I agree with not having to upgrade, if you have the $ why not go all out?
first off get your flowering system ph to 5.6-5.8 range. Are you monitoring your rez temps, what are they? how do your roots look? pics would be awesome!!

You dropped 5k on a grow room and went with bag seeds? I wouldnt waste my time with bag seeds! If I were you, I would order some well known good strain seeds and start over!:peace:

had to start with something i knew i hve have some glitches in the systems. remember i am a newbie. and i did start over with some good strains i got from attitude. distroyer and white widow. but here is still my queston? why did the bagseed i started with better then when i grew it hydro. i really expexted to make something that was really good better. then i would not at all mind laying out some cash for some good strains but i dont want to fuck them up to.

Your grow room sounds killer but maybe the bagseed was grown in a better setup:confused:. What breeder did the seeds come from? How far are you on the widow?:peace:

Its not the equipment, its the grower...I see people around here with crappy setups grow some amazing buds.

First, dont get discouraged, second spend more time doing research and learn to separate the bs from the realness

Third, the seeds you got from the bagweed might have been crossed with something less potent, or like ALL cannabis its possible that you got a less than desirable pheno.

Its also possible that you harvested them too early which IMO is the #1 mistake made by newbies that make it to their first harvest.

Persevere brother.

so are you looking at your buds under a scope??? how long are you letting go for? are you sure your cutting them at the right time, that shit is key.

never going to give up. i waited 5-6 weeks into veg the spent 9-10 weeks in the flower waited till 25-30 pecent of the tro turned amber flushed untill 75-80 percent then harvested. not discouraged want to figure it out and i do blame newbie mistakes i made for my bad harvest. but when i do get it figured it out the good times begin

All I have to say is learn from your mistakes. First mistake was the bagseed, now was this grow from clones from the original plants that you grew or different all different seeds? All seeds produce different plants which could be potent or not, and bagseed usually isnt up to par with the stuff you order from seed banks. Also remember less is more, try not to over do it, keep it simple, just plenty of fresh air, light, temps, nutes not to high, and let them grow. And research... I dont even know how you could spend all that cash and grow some unknown strain with all that equipment
