540 led or 600 hps?

ok guys I know this will probably start a flame war but I gotta ask...I have a bunch of equipment that I cant use anymore except for a new small area several 1000's a dual 600 and 3 prosource jumbo ufo's (just in lights but have pretty much anything anyone could ever want). Anyways my new flowering room is pretty tiny its 4x6x8 but do to my limitations of my setup prolly only about 5 feet tall plants is all I can handle.

So anyways for my 4x6x8 you guys think I should go 3 prosource jumbos totaling 540 watts of led or 1 600 hps w/ fresca sol water jacket? I have only used these led's as flowering supplements or veg lights both of which they kicked ass at but never as my sole source of light for flowering plants. I only have about 20 amps available for my whole apartment as I lost my garage I was using.

Use both but use them in a lighting schedule where one turns off and another goes on. So for example, run your hps for 6 hours, then have your LED run for the other 6. It reduces heat, electricity use, and you still get desirable results.

sounds like a reasonable idea, however I only have enough space for one or the other. I have never used a 600 watt alone its always been next to a 1000 watt in my grows I am wondering what kind of yield do you guys usually expect from your 600 watt hps I a LB reasonable?

Thats 400 grams. That's .6 grams per watt. Honestly, IMO try the LED. What kind of LED is it? Not the wattage, but where you bought it.

Those LED's make excellent mood lights for the bedroom.

they are prosource. 3 jumbo ufos They kick ass for veg and flowering enhancers i just have not trired them alone flowering.
