Woohoo! Purp has sprout!

To me the purpling issue is the plants normal response to cold temps. Dark colors absorb more heat aka don't wear black in the summer sun you'll roast your nuts! Having said that that pic you showed was sick (not in a good way) and that leaf went through all kinds of stress and the light purpling was just one of it's responses to try and suvive.

I do the soak and papertowel trick and haven't had a bad bean yet! Oh shit, I just jinxed myself! Next time I'll water germ a few and papertowel a few and do a compare and contrast! I got seeds up the wazoo anyway and more on the way with that Attitude xmas special.

Ever had a seed not float and just sink to the bottom right away. I did and I almost threw is out but now it's my biggest girl. That ain't normal but then neither am I! A match made in bud heaven!

I agree. Seeds that sink to the bottom are not bad. Infact, I would say 3 out of 5 seeds I germ sink to the bottom and I have an outstanding setup with 100% Success.
Hahaha I have that Christmas Skunk Train on order too!

To PurpDaddy: Nice sprout! Will you be using advanced techniques and what nutes?

ill be topping the second or third node and maybe sum supercropping if needed..I can usually get em where i want em by JUST topping!

Was it from Greenhouse Seeds? I have a LS seedling and she is not growing NEARLY as fast as my other girl (Great White Shark)
Small/runty might be part of the Lemon Skunk genetics.

yea i started over and i think its another..i emailed attitude and they said i gotta return the "SOUVINIERS"...They would shit if they would get a bunch o lil runts n the sam coffee mug thy sent me!
Its a week old but small man for 24/0...ill post pic later.

20/4 workz great for me... my babies are showing sex at only 3 weeks vegg. i guess that has due mostly with environment and genetics,but still i like 20/4...bongsmilie

I highly doubt that the runt is due to the light schedule, but 20/4 works great for me too. It gives them plents of light time and enough dark for them to recover for the next day.

I disagree but have not done anything except 24/0. Not sure why the plant would need a rest. A rest from what? Is there more root growth? Does the plant stretch during the lights out? Maybe I can be trained. Maybe.
