My pineapple chunk has got drying leaves and brown spots.
Feeding with Foxfarm full lineup, ffof for soil, water is normally 7 but the ph meter read 5 after nutes, and runoff is also 5. I tried to buffer the soil with a sodium bicarbonate solution to raise the pH but that hasn't seemed to have done anything.

Well,I always hear and use 6.5Ph after water and nuts are mixed..If you mixed the nutrients and water and the Ph is at 5 ten i bet that is te issue..You need to be at 6.5 not lower or much higher.Any thing UNDER 6.5 in SOIL you will get nutrient block.

Yeah, sadly I don't have ph calibration solutions right now. I'm kinda hoping this isn't a nute lockout problem but I guess it is kind of obvious.

Sorry to hear your running on mis information bra.

Ph levels should be set before the nutes are added.
Anyone can argue their specific calibration, but thats something for the grower to decide.
In my circle we have discovered that 6.2 is our optimal number.
A friend claims 6.6 is his...

Regardless of your number, calibrate/ph your water and then add your nutes.

I have been told over and over to PH after nutes and then see the opposite. I am so confused. The nutes lower the PH quite a bit, right?

Sorry I posted without helping, having issues myself.

The damage has stopped, and it seems to look a little happier the stigmas look alot better and there's more trichs visible. :)

I'm also gonna stick to pH after nutes because the only way to measure how much you really need is by checking what the pH is after nutes are added.

appreciate the help guys +rep

Definately PH lock I have experience this in the past. My advice would be to let your water stand 24 hours, add nutes leave again for another 24 hours, adjust ph and then use.
