Here are some other pics I took yesterday...I found a dead baby robin in my bucket, the only bucket I didn't cover lol... figures. Also my biggest Armageddon plant isn't drooping up top anymore maybe the stalk borer left that one....I'm hoping so. and my power skunk is looking good, as you can see I am using the water bucket for weight in which I tie them down to.

This is also my first tie down. If standing straight up (90* angle) pull it down to a 45 first and then after a week pull it down more yet...little by little you can get that sucker all the way down to the ground, then all your branches will go up right....lotsa colas! There is a number of ways to do it I'm sure but thats kinda what I'm doing.

did u start them inside
yea I vegged them indoors until they were all at least 12 inches tall and the tallest one standing over 19 inches tall. I figured that would save me from having animals eating my young plants...I wanted to beef them up and make sure they were strong and well established before I let mother nature take over.

Update: well I had to perform "open-stem surgery again the other day. This time on my biggest Armageddon plant... It was the only one that wasn't topped. Instead of letting the stalk borer take over the entire plant then leave one night into the next I decided to take action by starting up top and cutting my way down the plant til I found it... big cock sucker it was. Needless to say I had to take a little over a foot off the top to find it but its gone now and the plant is doing fine. I didn't have my cam with me the day I had to perform the operation but these pics were taken a few days later(two days ago)

so yesterday I was doing some work in my patches and decided to spread "shake n' feed" MG bloom booster down all over my patches and then I mulched over everything. The mulch is really gonna help maintain good ground temp and moisture as well as help the slow release of the nutes... at least thats my thought on it anyway... Also went and picked up some more pesticides for my perimeter and after being there today I feel very confident that things are finally settled down and under control and with this rain today all is going well.:blsmoke:
BTW sorry bout the pics being so bad....like my cam isnt shitty enough, add a windy, cloudy, getting dark time of day to the mix and this is what they look like....

well...any strain which has survived this long uncared for in the wild is of interest. It may not have desirable traits for tokin, but it must have some for survival! I would be interested in what would happen if you left some males and pollinated some good plants with them. Yeah, you will dumb down genetics(potency), but you may over a few generations get the benefits of these introduced and high tolerance species. Just my 2 cents...If they survive with no care than even with bugs, mold, mildew, etc they are somewhat resistant already. The possibilities my friend...:blsmoke:

Very good point...I haven't thought of it that way, yea its some tough stuff no doubt and it flowers fast too, I had to pull a few males the other day cuz they are already threatening with there open pollen sacs. Its funny we are on the topic because that's today's mission....pull all the males I can find. Your Idea is great but I'm almost certain even if I pull all the males I find, there will still be some pollination going on, because I'll either miss one somewhere or a bee or something will carry it to my girls from another area. This isn't the only area it grows wild around here there's many other areas on this property that it grows and I've even seen it growing in ditches along the road just drivin around lol. So seeing a few seeds in this outdoor crop I'm afraid is inevitable....hopefully its only a small handfull tho and I'll pick them all out and keep them for future strain development....cuz you just gave me the idea.

Just out of curiosity tho, say I got a few seeds from say my Armageddons and I planted them would they be 50% Armageddon, 50% wild? Also over the next generations...you would keep pollinating that strain with itself?....to perfect and get a solid consistent strain?
