600 HID, Res DWC, 4x4, Nirvana blue mystic First real grow

I guess I didn't FIM the girls right because they are still growing from the original stem. It is weird because they are also putting energy into side branches and bulging at the start of the branches.

Day 5 of flower. Girls are now 28 inches tall. This is getting crazy. I was hoping for a max height of 36". I Now think I'll get closer to 4" tall.

Day 7 of flower, girls are 30" tall.

Day 8 of flower.
Worst fucking day.

I came home after a forced walk since my cars alternator died. Woo hoo 300$ repairs
After that, I get home and notice that my plants fell over and they look like shit.
Many branches died and had to kill one plant since it was 1/3 of the size of the other, should have done that way before.
The net pots fell into the reservoir because the plants are getting too big and I had to tie them with plant ties to get them straight.
My plants are all over the place and the canopy is garbage tier. I really feel like throwing them out and just starting over with clones while only growing 1 big plant.

Day 9 of flower
Took out most of the ties and the plants are almost straight. I did an involuntary trimming. The plants fell over and I had to get them back up and reinforce the nets. Broke many branches sadly
The girls are now 32" tall. Man they are huge.
Especially the one in back in the left. Its so big its pushing the other plants away from her.
Good enough pheno for me to keep it, I took 2 clones and both rooted. I then put them in soil as mother plants.I know they look like hell right now haha

Day 10 flower
Did a res change, holy crap it was complicated because of the size of the plants and how little work space I have.
Messed up the plants while doing it too, they're all curved now.

Day 12 of flower.
I was unhappy with the canopy so I cut down another plant and did some lst for the past 2 days.
My canopy is much more even and looks way better. Also the clones that I took are doing fine.

Nice set up man. Is it your first time DWC?

Day 13 of flower, girls are 37" tall. So far the stretch is 2x, I estimate a final stretch of 2.5x.

Yeah first time DWC and I really like it. Love how fast the plants grow in veg.

Can I ask what tips (if any) you'd give a first time DWCer? I plan to start soon...cheers!

Use beneficial bacteria, I use great white.
Use chemical nutrients, organic will make everything complicated.
Watch your ppm and pH closely, it gets easier as you go.
Don't forget to train your plants.
If a problem shows up and you don't know the cause, a res change should be the first step to problem solving.

girls are 39" tall now. Buds are forming.
Still no weed smell.

Girls are 41" now...I was not expecting such a stretch. I'm running out of height now.
2.3x stretch in only 15 days.

Great, thanks alot! I'll hopefully get up and running after Xmas with my first DWC, cant wait!
