Why do you say 6 or 8 won't pose the same problems?

Im growing a lot of plants for a high yield, hopefully. -- By having a lot of small plants light penetration isn't really an issue.

If you have a few big ones, only the tops will get light, unless you do training that adds time to the growing cycle.

I believe this is the philosophy behind the sea of green.

I don't think it will be an issue if you grow them small. Basically what I'm asking you to do is run your setup at 50% capacity. I think you will see that A. You will have better success since everything won't be crammed in B. You can add more the very next cycle as you progress basically giving you 0 stress and almost 100% chance of success.

So to recap grow them the size you intended too, just reduce the plant numbers by 50% for one cycle. You will thank me later

Whatever you decide to do don't be scared of topping or training. If you fuck up learn from it and go from there. You can always veg longer to recover them. Be scared of the police or your neighbors smelling your dank. If you live where it's legal be scared of getting shot, in a serous accident, or ripped off. Don't let a plant scare you they are much more resilient than you think.

But there is a reason to be scared of topping and training.

It adds more time and its easier to mess up.

Why did you recommend topping and LST, and did you recommend this with 16 plants?

Won't topping and LST bush out the plants and choke out the many others?

What kind of accidents are you talking about?

I've heard its best to do 16 at once,

How much of a negative impact will there be if I put 4 in every 2 weeks with no topping or LST?

Greg buddy. You're arguing with people that have far more experience than you do. The difference between what you think you know from reading and what you know from experience is night and day. You'll see that in a while, as did I.
The advice to start small and work your way up is sound. You'll lose less money time and anguish this way.
Most importantly, buy the tent and light and get planting. Shop the seed banks with positive reviews on here and order your beanz. Many offer excellent freebies. I would stay away from the 2 in 1's. Everyone I've seen that has one ends up using the extra space for flower.
