well the roots continue to grow out of the netpots for the two on the left, the one all the way to the right had maybe 1.5" longer to work out of the netpots because the clone was very short. today i leave for new york for work for a week, i was planning on upping the ppm from 110 to 250 with the grow nutes, maybe only to 200 though. either way, it's gotta wait until the UPS guy gets here with my bluelabs truncheon wand today, because my grochek meter is bullshit. the older leaves are startin to look pretty rough on the taller two plants. i've got a feelin they will take the nutes no problem, but would appreciate some insight.

as for the smaller plant, i've been turkey basting some res water in there a couple times a day and the leaves look more healthy than the taller ones. i'm really hoping whoever i got this from didnt fuck up and give me a chocolope clone, because the structure of this one looks quite a bit different, i guess we will see.

upped the EC to 0.3 before i left today, but am wondering if that may have been not enough... kinda confused on if i should bang straight into about 600ppm's right now, though i think i will chill... got my girlfriend ready to increase to around 450ppm's on thursday. if anyone has any opinions on when i should up the nutes i would love to hear it.

edited to add:
ph down to 5.3 today
ec raised to 0.3 with dyna-gro Grow
rez temp: 66.7F
tent temp: 77F

kk, so over the phone i walked my girl through adding some nutes, and whatnots.

added:
50mL Cannazyme (i know it calls for more, but i'm unfamiliar, so i just dropped in that much for now)
40mL Dyna-Gro Pro-Tekt to help ph up
not really sure how much Dyna-Gro Grow was added, we were going by the wand to get it where we needed it

ec raised to 0.7
ph @6.1
rez temp: 67.0F
tent temp: 76F

not really sure about how to start off the grow nutes, looking at the plants now i think i should have started sooner. kind of undershot the EC i wanted it to be at, we were shooting for 1.0-1.1 or so, but we ph'd up with 2.5 gallons of tap water (aerated) so i think that threw my math off. plan on working with my girlfriend tomorrow to get the EC up to around 1.0 or whatver 500-600 tds would be. if anyone knows if this is still too low let me know. the plants were kinda looking like they were getting deficient, so im hoping to get them to where they need to be over the next couple days. she is planning on working on getting the screen setup on sunday. really wish i was in town, kinda stuck on the road for work for about 2-3 weeks, hopefully not more.

p.s if anyone could please let me know where your TDS would be and which scale for rooted clones you've had for about 5 days it would be greatly appreciated. i've heard as high as 900 and am kind of scared to go that high because of all the horror stories i've heard.

today levels were all within range, and the plants lived through upping to 1.0. girlfriend said the plants were looking better, and she will be sending me some pics of them tomorrow. i'm not exactly sure she would know if they were looking better, but we will see. she said she "thought" the leaves looked a little more green. i've got my fingers crossed. either way, pics will be around tomorrow, not like they are going to be earth-shatteringly cool or anything.

kk g/f sent some pictures, and it seems as though there is some new growth in the center, and she assures me it looks really green. the plant that was lagging behind for its roots to show finally had one sprout out. that plant had about an extra inch to grow through though, because she wasnt as tall as the other clones so i had to bury her a bit shallow... all in all everything seems good, ppm's dropped by close to 10% since we upped it so i guess they are sucking the nutes up... btw, all comments are welcome, i know there isn't much going on right now though :weed:

heres the pics:

btw, the leaves that are looking quite sad are probably all my fault. i was kinda scared to nute them at first, because i thought they would die from the transplant from dirt to hydro. that and i heard the horror stories about people and nuting too early. they probably should have been in nutes either from the setoff, or 1-2 days later. hopefully they continue to bounce back nicely, and hopefully i did not cause any permanent damage. i will be stopping back at home for a few days on thursday and plan on a res change, and building the screen. until then my g/f will be keeping everything topped off and balanced, she's such a sweetheart =-D

kk g/f did some rez maintenance today, raised ec to 1.0, ph'd to 5.7... slight issue however, we have spider mites... my homeboy from cali stopped by to look at em, and noticed the mites... tomorrow he is gonna swing by and treat the plants, and he will be stopping in until i get home to make sure they are sorted out.

edited to add:
i've got a feeling the spider mites had been around since i picked them up at the dispensary. i have a noob set of eyes to all of this though, so i wouldnt have noticed em. didn't even think i would have to worry about them, because i was puttin the clones into a hydro system. silly me.

the plants were drenched and massaged with miticide, and a thorough cleaning was given to the walls of the tent, and reservoir lid. more roots are shooting from the small plant.

EC: 1.0
ph: 5.6
rez temp: 67F
tent temp: 73-75F

my girlfriend will spray daily with 50/50 rubbing alcohol, and distilled water. hopefully when i arrive at home on thursday they wont be an issue, if they are i may just scrap the clones, scrub down the tent and start with some new clones.

kk, so stats are as follows:

ph 5.6
ec 1.0
rez temp 66F

the dispensary admitted today to selling me clones with spider mites, they apologized. i basically called to let them know that their supplier (since it was their first time with clones) may have been selling them clones with mites. they said i wasnt the only person that called, and they said they are looking into different supply lines. i explained to them that i wasnt looking for anything for free, also told them that in the near future i may be able to bring them some clones. either way, things seem to be going the same, i will be home wednesday night and will be happy to see my girl, and my girls.

overall given the issues with spider mites i think they are looking ok, the mite issue may be under control now, and if it is not, it will be when i get home tomorrow night. i will fog em if i have to and monitor them bitches 24/7. please shoot me some comments with any insight, or motivational talk. all the views and very little comments, and i dont want to whore myself in other threads trying to get people to view mine. thanks!

haha my setup is the cats ass, but my plants are hurtin... they two on the left are revegging, the one on the right im convinced is different genetics, and is looking pretty light as well... tomorrow im doin a rez change and bumpin nutes up quite a bit, then tomorrow evening i will be building my screen... i took a lot of pictures right when i got home... overall the center clones is pissing me off just looking at it, i want to take it to the dispensary and be like "this is wtf you guys have me fucking with"

really it is quite depressing i wish i would have just rolled with seeds... anyways, here is the pictures... the roots are coming in nicely on all plants, but i almost want to scrap all of them and bomb the tent, and start from scratch... im really that upset by it, but my girlfriend put in a lot of work... so, we will keep them for her sake =-D

ok, the plant on the right looks slightly burnt at the tips, and by slightly i mean close to microscopic, so im not changing anything... the spider mite issues appears to be well under control, however tomorrow they are all getting a tobacco tea dip, just to be on the safe side of things, i also decided to hold off on res change until after the tobacco tea dip. as for damaged leaves on the other plants, they looks like they are going deep green in the segments that are not yellow. this leads me to believe that where it is yellow there is damaged plants structure, and it may never go back green. there are a couple leaves that look straight up like shit, and i would like to cut these off, but im not sure how bad of an idea that is... the root growth is amazing, seems to double in size every day. i did trim on very bad looking half dead leaf off of the one on the right, so i suppose i may just cut the two leaves off from the other two plants that are really making me disgusted. today i readied buckets of water with nutes, and ph'd for res change... i am going to pick up a 150qt cooler this weekend so i dont have to do it in buckets anymore... scrog construction will be going on soon, and im going to lower the light to maybe 16 inches in about 10 minutes...

res ec: .8-.9 my bitches is eating good
res ph: 5.7 (very stable, system is in equilibrium i believe)
res temp: 65.6F (dropped a 20oz in today)
tent temp: 77F

also, ive got this tobacco tea sitting around cooling down in the crockpot... im going to sterilize the surfaces in the tent and lid tomorrow as well with bleach or something to that effect... the spider mites are not welcome in my lab.
