600W HPS Heat issue

Hi,

I've got a 600W in a 6w x 3d x 8h closet and i cant shift the heat.
I've got a 6" exhaust fan and a 5" intake fan with 2 oscilating fans but still wont go below 84F.

Dont know what else to do. Will it help if i put another exhaust fan?
Or should i take out the intake fan, cut another hole and use it to help exhaust?

Suggestions very welcome

Just a bat wing. i was thinking of buying a cool tube today but i read a few negative things about them. do you think this will solve the problem?

If you dont like cooltubes look for an aircooled hood instead.

Cooltubes are cheap

Good aircooled hoods are not.

I personally use a SUNLIGHT SUPPLY BLOCKBUSTER.

And to answer your question, YES it will definately help.... but if your ambient intake air temps are higher than 75F you'll struggle to keep temps below 80F.

I had the same issue. I attached 2 120mm pc fans to the batwing blowing in the direction of my exhaust above the lights. worked like a mexican. Or....this is a bit extreme but you can run a duct or some hosing from a window or outside into your grow area.

Real brand cooltubes are really good at cooling the lights but cheap ones suck royal balls.
That being said most high grade air cooled hoods are about as good.
Problem with cool tubes is you lose light out the sides where the hoods are better at directing it in the right place, but the tubes are usualy more efficient at getting the heat out of the tube then a hood is.
