600w kiwi grow

hey all just started another indoor grow ,, have 5 kiwi skunk seeds (from sea of seeds) in dirt and they are now 13 days old on 18/6 light cycle. they are under a 600w hps in a grow tent with inline and extractor fan which are both hooked up to a temp controller highest temp so far is 35c and lowest 16c but most of the time sits between 28-30c. they are in 30L pots with pot power soil,, they have been feed a 1/4 dose of canna terra veg to give there roots a bit of a boost but will start ferting regularly no that there 2 weeks old , also once lights change i will be feeding canna terra flora, pk13/14 and canna boost.. let us know what you guys think will keep it posted weekly .....hopefully haha PEACE

hey all another weeks been and gone and my babies are looking good now 21 days old from putting seeds in a paper towel, there all growing great and am preparing to top in 2 to 3 days following UB's topping technique. 1 plant is looking a little deformed (pic 1) but its still going all good and theres small signs in a couple of other ones but not stressing over it at the momment..

so week 3 from wet seeds and all is still good topped all 5 plants 5 days ago and they have all responded well am keeping the toppings and cloning them,
still have my little deformed plant (pic 3&4) is healthy and growing just looks weird ,,m let me know what you guys think..

so been a little while since ive been able to get online but 3 1/2 weeks on and things are looking nice and green have to switch to flower in a cuple of days now instead of waiting till the end of week 5 but ohwell .
Got some pretty cool traits coming through ,have seen it on riu an few times but my plants are growing 3 leaves/branches per node its pretty cool but its only a couple of the tops.
clones were a bit rejected but are all rooted and starting to grow there just a little sick atm haha their not actually as yellow as they look just the flash.
but yea thats all for today PEACE

awesome cheers man haha will go have a look now... hey whats your opinion on feeding with grow nutes eaither a day before or on the day they switch to flower??
as i figure it will give it a good boost of nitrogen for through out the flower period. let me know what u think cheers

Nice looking grow dude :)

Grow nutes are ok to use for the first week of flowering or until you see pistills ;)

I give a straight flush the last water before I off the lights for 36 hours to go into personally. Developed it over the years, plant absorbs pretty much everything left in the soil and I start feeding the Bloom nutes with a top dressing of run-through coffee grinds as top dressing and the PK13-14 blast in weeks 3-4. Recipe for success ;)

ok interesting would u mind explaining your reasons behind the 36hr darkness thing you have me intrigued..

Assuming you can keep your heat stable without your lights on (your space won`t drop below 66-68F), it shocks the plants into thinking there may never be sun again. They then try to begin the next stage of their growth (flower) quickly, and absorb nutrients in the soil to accumulate for a massive need (impeeding death, haha). Some like 24 hours, I like 36, once they get the light back they start regaining the photosynthesis to continue grow and blooms. I ran 2 plants of same strain, same seed start date, etc, the one with 36 hours darkness showed sex about 3-5 days earlier than the 24h dark period plant.

The 36 hours also helps me keep multiple lights on/off at different times to avoid massive electric spikes, and makes watering easy as the last water the get before the darkness is straight Distilled for me, they take very kindly to the top dressing of coffee grinds (N supplement for first 2-3 waterings) and the bloom nutrients of your choice. Food for thought brother :)

ahhh that makes alot of sense man would this still be the case with fem seeds as you already know what sex its going to be?? and yea ive heard coffee grinds are good might have to go see my girlfriend at work see if they've got some spare haha

Yep! Still gives them that much of a jump start that I see trichs by the end of the first week usually (if not in veg like some keepers). They sure love getting their light back, and they like to drink as a result, big time.

hey all sorry havent been on in a while been super busy but things are looking good in the garden .
now on to day 19 of flower lots of bud sites gave them a nice top dressing of coffee grounds so hopefully that should give it enough n for flower,
or should i gve them more??
watering twice a week with canna terra flores and cannaboost and getting great result.
also have three clones in there that im just going to flower their stretched as fuck but o well.
so let me know what you think feel free to drop a comment ...peace

Looking great Cobwebs, good to see you back and the ladies doing so well. That third row, last picture is text book man (would nice as an avatar actually ...). You`re coffee grinds on top will do ya just fine. At this point as you can see, energy is going into budding. You hit them with a PK boost yet? Looks like this would be the time I`d give some to my ladies. Can`t wait to see how they shape up for you mate, great job again,

cheers man haha ....yea how do u put up an avatar i really cant work it out haha....and no havent givin them the pk13-14 yet but was going to start in week three which starts tomorrw should i use it for the whole 2 weeks (weeks 3-4) or just give it a couple of doses.??would hate to nute burn them now.

I use it once in the third week, following watering goes back to bloom. They get just the one blast, pretty strong stuff, but the plants use the boost over the course of a week
