So what made ya go and buy Dyna ? just curious is all. lol.

I can't really give ya much help with a feeding schedule i just find what works for me. Besides running veg nutes 2 weeks into flower cutting back and replacing with bloom nutes until I'm at where I want to start off for flower.

I also mix my nute's in the 1 gal container separately and very concentrated. I add very slowly and a little at a time kind of like ph up & down. lol. I just find it easier myself and have the extra in my fridge ready to go when ever. Less work I guess is why I do it.

Been wanting to try it for a while now. I finally did some researching to find a hydro store near that carries it.

Ya know just to see what all the fuss is about. Everyone who tries it raves. Was a bit more expensive than Ionic per bottle, but different stores so cannot accurately compare.

Plus i'm nearing the end of my Ionic grow and all out of bloom.

I'm going to fill a gal container and put 1ml or 2 of each to see how high it raises my EC. And record my results. It's a big more concentrated than Ionic, so i'm nervous about making the switch right now.

I was looking for like 3ml protekt, 6ml promag, 9ml foliage pro type of ratio that I could expand upon depending what my target EC is.

Started a couple Afghan Kush Specials from World of Seeds.

Tried growing it before and it grew like wildfire until I went away and it drank way more than I expected and died. Sucked cause the 3 pack I got was like 30pounds.

One chocolope clone died, one looked like it had some stiffness still in its stalk this morning(36hrs after cutting), but now its kind of limp after being exposed to light from its dark period.

As long as you say keep it a tad under what you normally run you should be fine. PPM's are PPM's no matter what so I don't ever really worry to much when I try something. Just run it at what ever PPM I think is safe for that size plant and go with it. lol. Every plant's different obviously so to each their own. I just start low and work my way up each day.

Nah that definitely not for me. lol. I'm not sure what your method's are but I cut all the leaves in half while its still on the plant. Then I cut it off the mother where ever is best for the next set of growth and not to mess it up.

Get a big bowl or I just use my RO res. When I read it it said to use tap water due to the chlorine and everything else would help with sterilizing all the cuts you made and it helps with "droopy" clones.

I just toss them in there till I'm done everything and dip them in clonex let them sit for a few and then place them in my diy cloner. They never droop or any dis-coloration.

The Aurora I have clones great so far. Pop's new roots in 5-7 days and is ready to plant in 14. While this Purple Wreck I have suck's ass. lol. I have had two cutting in the cloner for three weeks and only one so far has just popped new roots. Still green and perky as ever though. Suck's because it make's it harder to grow or take's longer anyway.

Yeah I will have my DIY 5 gal bucket bubble cloner going soon.

I will try your technique. I've also read to make cuts under water which I haven't been doing.

I cut off plant like 1 node down from growing tip and then cut it at a 45 up right under that node and slice up the stem a bit and then cut off that node so I just have the growing top. Then I dip in clonex and plug it into 5.5 soaked RW, salad spun dry and filled with 5.8 water up to 25-30g. Got it down to a feel now. Similar to ounces so it works out.

lol. Yah I have the diy aero cloner. Both aero and bubble work great though same concept.

I forgot to add that the rest of chafing the first inch or two with the razor before you dip it in clonex and the re-cutting it when its soaked in clonex or w/e you use. Smoking a bowl,Workin in the garden, Watchin Tv, and Eating PB&J Ice Cream all at once. Lol. multi-tasking. lol.

I also built my first side of my vertical racks. when i got home today. lol

Day 35:

DSC04435.jpgDSC04436.jpgDSC04437.jpg
Chocolope - Battery died on my meter. Gotta go pick another up. But I will change the nutes out tonight. 1.5ml magpro, 12ml protekt, and the rest foliage pro till 1.0EC. I'd guess her EC is at .9EC from 1.0EC. She's eating lots.

White Widows - Took off the really shitty looking leaves and cleaned up some under leaves.

Chocolope is now getting .66ml/gal (2ml total) of Magpro, 4ml/gal (12ml total) of protekt, and 3.33ml/gal foliage pro (10ml total) -- .95EC/5.8PH (3.9-2.5-4.3)

White Widow on the right side of tent is getting Dynagro @ .5ml/gal (1.5ml total) of Magpro, 3ml/gal (9ml total) of protekt, and 7ml of foliage pro -- .75EC/5.8PH (3.8-2.5-4.3)

White Widow on left is getting 3ml/gal calmag (9ml total) and the rest Ionic Grow. Think I used 9ml total. Did it last night without a meter. -- .78EC/5.8PH (3.5-1-3)

Dynagro set my water to like 7.5PH. Had to use the most PH down i've ever used to get to 5.8 -- Something like 2ml...Ionic will leave me at like 6.1 with that feed and only take 3 drops of ph down to get to 5.8. But it raises daily, lets see if dynagro stays steady.

Its funny because when I am done mixing my nutes, liquid seaweed, silica, superthrive, and some clorox my ph is usually 6.0 to 5.8. Don't ever usually even have to touch it. lol.

My starting PH is like 6.8, then once I put the protekt in and let it sit, im checking and the PH is like 9.5.

This morning the two Dynagro buckets were at 6.0 and took lots to get to 5.8.

Ionic was at 6.1 and took 5 drops to get to 5.8

Are you you using RO water ? I forgot. Also do you keep your res if so aerated ? I aerate my res and aerate my nutes as I mix as well.

Regular tap. It's .12EC and about 95ppm.

I used to use two General Hydroponics Dual Diaphragm air pumps. But now I just use 1. It's 20LPM split up to 4 buckets.

And yes, after I clean the bucket, stone and hose I put the stone in the new bucket and add nutes. I moved the airstone around to mix up the res after I added the protekt and waited like a minute just to be safe.

So I just checked and as of 9PM, 14 hours after PHing to 5.8 the Chocolope with dynagro is at 6.2PH and dropped to .94EC

The white widow running the dynagro was at 6.0PH

And the white widow running ionic was at 5.9PH

I've given up on the other chocolope. Started right out the RW shitty. Still looks shitty 5 weeks later. Fuck it. I just want to get a living clone off it's beast sister.

Both the AKs are sprouted. One already has a half inch root sticking out.

Feeding .08EC protekt(.2EC total) @ 5.8ph

So all the buckets with Dyna gro have brown roots.

The other white widow is growing like it should and now my chocolope and white widow on dyna gro are stunted.

Look at the roots yesterday and they were noticably browner. Today even browner. The White Widow with dynagro has root dampening off. Probably has root rot.

Looks like one of my Afghan Kush has is dampening too. Already. Damn. Wondering wtf happened in my room.

Hmm weird dude. I don't run the other part's to the line just because the shop didn't have them so I can't really compare. My res's are brown more due to the liquid seaweed I use is like black tar.

So it's something they either don't like or are getting accustomed too. What are your res temp's ? Brown slime is because of warm temps and bacteria usually. Or for one anyway. Maybe with Ionic they weren't as prone to it or something...

The Chocoshit smelled even worse, the res. It might of been cross contamination.

Just another reason to snip out the problem plants early.

I chopped the white widow running the dyna and the chocoshit. Washed all the buckets and my mixing bowls, pipettes, measuring shot glass, tweezers. Going to wipe down surfaces with Clorox wipes and work on my aerocloner.

I hope the white widow isn't getting root rot already, that'd suck. But the root end is like tapered at the end, so I think it may.

Going to brew up some tea tonight and add it to the Chocolope thats doing good so it doesn't turn to shit.

So pissed. Got like a jar left from my last harvest.

My temps are low, its winter time so the room is like low 70's with lights going 24/7. Which is something I need to stop doing. Put it on 18/6.

But res temps are mid 60's low 60's.
