The problem is the other plants should have been covered in budroot all the way through. Nothing wrong with the buds. What are your careers in real life and stick with context?
No that's not true and I explained how if you have damaged a cola on a plant by say a light burn you can get bud rot in just those colas.

I don't know what you mean by stick with context but I've had several careers. I put myself through school, as a pilot by running pot. That paid for my undergrad and Medical School. I was in a car accident which left me unable to complete my surgical residency and was disinterested in pathology and psychiatry, so I went to school. I tried law school and realized we were not a match and got an MSCS (Master's in Computer Science).

I am comfortably retired and growing cannabis is my hobby. Now tell us about your education and work experience ;D
I'm a certified network engineer. I hold certifications in network+, security+, MCSA, CCNA. i have a degree in computer science infrastructure side. I minored in horticulture and went through Ferris state universities greenhouse program. Now I grow cannabis for a living.
Very cool! I have an MSCS and spent the majority of my money making life as a software engineer working for online companies you may have heard of :)

My son has a Ph.D. in EE and works for Google. I still chuckle he's spending his life as an SE. I annoy him regularly. He's a good kid.

I also enjoy long walks off short piers :)

Welcome to my life. I'm in Lancaster in northern Los Angeles County. I never grow within VPD and my grow's humidity is rarely above 10%. My pot still smells good and smokes well and can get you very high.
Crazy. Sound like here in CO. Mine rarely gets over 10% too. It was higher, before I started exhausting outside. Now I don't even need my expensive dehumidifier.

But he's talking about drying his buds. I'm sure you overlooked it with all the BS in this thread, lol. He said it was 80 degrees and couldn't get the RH over 25%.

Nope that was my point I dry at whatever my ambient RH is and it's very low. 25% isn't bad the point is as soon as you get that snap but not break you need to jar and burp. It's the same as higher humidity except you jar sooner. For me right now I'd jar within 24 hours. You can't let that moment pass. My pot always runs a little dryer but cures and smokes fine.

How goes it neighbor. Hope you handled that nasty heat wave we just went through

But in California city we see pretty much identical to Lancaster Palmdale (half hour away). 10% humidity. 20% at best. But never had a problem with smell or cure. Just gotta run the ac all day an night

Hey! You in Cal City by @cannabineer? I just can't justify running the A/C for a hobby. I run a swamp cooler that has actually raised my RH considerably. I think I'm around 25% LOL my pot still dries and cures just fine and I still get high as a kite.

Looks like we have another heatwave coming!

Wow, 24 hours. I can go 3 days at least with my closet and humidifier. But have never been able to go past 5. 3-4 is the average. Then into jars and burped a bunch. Works fine for me.

I did that with him. I've explained twice how bud rot can be limited to a few colas and not spread throughout the plant. He doesn't believe me. That's ok. We are all on our own journeys.
This cola was a couple of inches underneath a gavita. Not much more to explain. That picture was from February.

We actually are on own journeys when you think you can see inside someone's garden, how close there plant is underneath a light amazing. People having to cut whole colas, because they completely burned, but you know what you know ...

The one thing that Amazes me is that people are in real life in others gardens. Admitting to PM, Mites , Fungus Gnats ain't shit. Budroot comes from areas that usually have high pm and it is dry in my area.

....snip...... Budroot comes from areas that usually have high pm and it is dry in my area.
I grow in the Mojave Desert. My RH is usually around 10% sometimes as much as 25% when I'm running my swamp cooler. How did I get Powder Mildew? I've gotten it and thank god for Marrone Regalia. It saved a table of genetics I needed.

I've been telling you that your burnt cola was the access for those fungal spores. I knew it because I've toasted more than one cola myself on my HPS (even in an air cooled hood) and I got bud rot.

How did that happen? I seriously doubt your RH is lower than mine. It's because even in low humidity fungus and life find a way.
