what do you guys think about these lights, u can get them at the local hardware store and they read on the back that there meant for growing your indoor plants, there not floreseacants but more like a normal bulb with a blue spectrume???????? got a couple for free would they work with some cfls????????

NO! Dont buy them! My first grow like six years ago, I was broke and tried to do everything very cheap (more like a half ass nube). I bought two of those lights thinking I could grow something. That was not the case. They were way to hot. my plant were a yellow color and did not grow. Those lights are made for maintaning a plant while indoors, not for growing. If you want go ahead and try. But you will be bummed.
If you cant afford a HID light, go with compact flos.
