Maybe if you start letting people advertise for free (e.g. via certain contests) UNTIL there are paid advertisers, it might light a fire under his butt in terms of taking their money and letting there BE paid advertisers. Because right now, the party cup competition is only good news for your site, it brings in new members, it keeps old members active, and it is pretty much free advertising for rollitup. I could understand if companies that paid for advertising felt like their toes were being stepped on, but it has been like 6 months at least since I have seen a single paid add, so I'm not really sure who's toes are being trampled.

Biggest part for me is when 2 or more months has gone by and the comp sponsors have not been able to get a response when they just want to buy the service RIU offers. . . advertising. Stepping on no ones toes, RIU is stepping on it's own dick. I pray I do not win this comp. . . too much BS to deal with to host the next one :0P Thanks provision seeds , Gator filters, and Gorilla seed bank.

RIU lets get this advertising sorted, and if the person in charge of it is wearing too many hats to take money and offer a service you say you want to sell, DELEGATE out the responsibility. It looks like you have members of site staff who will back you up and conduct themselves in a fashion to keep your best interests in mind.

If wat was said by Potroast is truth then i guess Frozen wins the grand prize, since he stated the sponsors prizes have arrived. Where are the host from the final few cup contest? Did they get the permission? This seems to be some real bull shit. Might have to bust out and find a new forum, as @rollitup Forum seems to be broken, and not cared to be fixed by the owner, even half dead forum are able to maintain it, "505 Errors" meh 5-100 times a day. Now wants HE to come in and alienate the main ppl that post here on a regular.

the site goes down for at least 30 - 60 min each day too.

So where does this go from here, is everyone staying in the contest?. Just read today's posts, pretty much a letdown. Even though I didn't win anything last time, it was still worth being a part of and watching everyone's plants mature. I'll stick it out for the same reason.

yea i'ma keep mine in the cup and keep it going as if potsmoke never showed up. like he said "We've allowed the contest to continue, but any talk of prizes being given by outside companies will not be allowed." (So jus dont talka bout it anymore.) keep growing and vote at the end.
