7 weeks into flowering with no buds plants are 100% for sure female

I am 7 weeks into flowering after 5 weeks of veg. My plants are 4-5 ft tall and are covered with white pistls. A few have turned red but all the tricombs are still clear. My question is 7 weeks of flowering shouldn't there be buds because I have no buds at all? I can upload pics if needed. Please respond I need to know if I am doing something wrong. Please help

Please upload pics.

Are you sure your light cycle is correct and uninterrupted ?

Is it a tall lanky strain? Big thin leaves? If so it could be a sativa dominant some of them take 14 weeks give or take.

Ill upload in the mourning the lights are off. I have 2 150 watt hps bulbs. And yes they are sativa but this far in there should still be buds right? The lights are 12 on 12 off.

Those are buds. Depending on the plant, you can be looking at anywhere from 12-20 weeks flowering. Not knowing anything about the strain, or your skills, for 300 watts, they don't look terrible. Buds pack on most of their weight last few weeks, and I bet you have a ways to go. But yeah those are bud formations, just have to be patient, but you can relax a little, you didn't screw the plant up.

Oh, and did you count the seven weeks from when you switched lights cycle, or when you first saw white hairs?

Yeah there are a few landrace sativas that take 6 months aka never really stop flowering.
