Hows it goin any better results with temps? Have they grown past the Cotyledon's ?
Things seem to be going better... I have better control over the temp now, although it seems to fluctuate a bit... 78.6 was the current temp - so alot closer where i want to be. Currently i have one fairly good exhaust fan and a fan in the cab for air circulation.. i have two intake ducts, one smaller that's set up for a fan, and another a bit larger than the exhaust fan opening. My question is, do you think i should add another intake or another exuast? I've heard both, but was wondering if you could help out with your expertise? :leaf:

I also had some seeds germinating for about a week, and too many germinated for my space & potting supplies! so i planted 6 more seedlings in my iffy mircicle grow potting soil.

I still havnt added any nutes yet..... I feel like optimization of the cab is taking awhile longer than i hoped (partially due to work and different sleeping scheduals w/ roomate, partially because im lazy even when it comes to cannibus!) so I'm waiting to get further with that before adding another peice to this puzzle.

Also my humidity it super low - around 20% - I was thinking about maybe just an open container of water? is that the best solution to increase humidity?

Thanks for checking in! I snapped a few more pics when i checked the temps and will try to post them within a few hrs when i go to work!

ps, about the Cotyledon's - if i understand what those are correctly (the first leaves?) then i think 2 plants have grown an additional 2 leaves? wow i don't know - this wake and bake has me in a good way! anyway - i'll post the pics so then you can tell me! :-P thanks again!

You probably won't need more intake/exhaust. In the future you always have the option, but
78 is a great temp to be at. Yea humidity is low, but when they grow, and you are watering
them more and more, they will be sweating more and more, humidity will naturally go up in your space.

Yea, they are looking good, growing little by little, You're in the miracle grow, so I'm sure there are some
time releaseed nutes in there, and they will be able to be fed for the first 2 weeks or so, I wouldn't add nutes
Until after transplanting. Unless they begin to show signs of deficiency, in which case, just post pics
and we can tell ya the problem.

12/2/09 pic updates

I got my "assistant" testing ph/nutes levels from my soil samples now.

Thinking about repotting again soon? I found a soild mix that supposedly has been tested and works well
"The soil mix consist of 1 bag of mriacle grow organic + 1 bag of pro mix + 1 cup blood meal + 1 cup bone meal + 1/2 cup dolimite lime + 10-20% added chunky perlite."
So I think I may try that.

Thinking of the future - when i flower.... and am wondering what you guys think.. i still gotta wait to sex my plants - but I'm not sure if i should go with keeping just the females and growing as many as i can with space/light - or keeping 1-3 of the BEST females and putting all my resources to a smaller number?

I'm also wondering about training them on some mesh? the sea of green type method to maximize canapoy size... Maybe I'm projecting too much and things will work out when i get that far, but any ideas or suggestions, as always - are more than welcomed!

Thanks for looking - LovingKindness-PirateSmoker:joint:

ha this smiley is fucking rad! :spew:

been awhile since i've posted - things are still going along ok....

I did however notice what appeared to be inter-sexed traits on the bud that i've been getting my seeds from - which would explain why it's seeded... my question is - should i assume my beans are going to produce hermies?? i've done a bit of research and read that it can be genetic or environmental... but now i'm worried that all my ladys might be trannies :( :( :(

This from seed bizness is for the birds - seems like a mother plant and cuttings would be a better way for me to go.. eventually.

Also thinking that ultimately these cfls are not going to fullfull my needs. Time to shop for a 150 or 250 HPS. Does anyone have advice on where online is a good place to pick one up? i'll be doing some research on it, but if you have a link handy it woudl be apprecaited!

today is the plants last day of 18 hrs of light.... I'm gonna give them a period of lightless rest, then switch over to 12/12 to start the hermies flowering!
