Hi

on the soil that I use it says N=77 P=120 K=520.
Should I use nutrients for my flowering clones or am I going to burn them?

Those numbers don't make any sense. You can't even get fertilizer with numbers that high; anything over one hundred means there's OVER 100% of the nutrient in it?!

Even as ppm numbers these don't add up. That's waaaay too much potassium.

I thought that too. I wonder if its 7.7-12.0-52.0? or something like that. The trailing zeros make no sense though. 2² + 2² ≈ 717 ...something does not compute.

I know lots of people getting great results with Jacks 20-20-20, better ratios all the way through.
Are you hearing anything about Jacks 15-30-15? I just started using it, seems ok so far. Time will tell.

As ppm numbers it does make a certain amount of sense- but I wouldn't recommend the ratio without mixing it with something else, like calcium nitrate.

My dry nutrient mix is 5-11-26 plus micros; 'hi K' hydroponic mix from Hydro-gardens.com. It's meant to be used in roughly equal parts with calcium nitrate (15.5-0-0-19%Ca), and to create a bloom mix I add a bit of MKP, (0-52-32).

OP, tell us more about this package of nutrients and maybe we can help you?

Interesting, I'll keep that in mind. So don't even bother with the blossom booster during flower?
Cannabis really prefers N-P-K ratios of around 3-2-4. So even in bloom, they don't need as much P as they do of both N and K. That 20-20-20 mix is close enough to use all the way through and as I said, I have plenty of friends who swear by it and they grow amazing bud.

My thinking was purely from a business perspective, the ink to print the point and the zeros cost money...and since they represent absolutely nothing other then consistency with the N value, seems like a waste of money....But I get what you're saying.

Maybe this will help? It is in Swedish but numbers are numbers.

Here is a Picture from the lable.
My 2 clones have been in this soil since cutting and now they are three weeks in bloom. They grow ok and I can´t see any big signs of problem (I post Pictures tomorrow).
