these are about 8-9 days from being germinated from the napkin, my question is you can see the plants from the pic and some of them look immature and have yellow on them and others look fine , i have a 4x4x7 grow tent lighted with a 400 watt mh/hps light, no nutes yet just water every couple days, have no ventilation yet cause i have not decided a way to go but have been letting air in peridoically but only during the light cycle and not long at all, are these plants fine????

I mean if you are a budget grower like myself then they look ok. But you are gonna need more stuff than that.
1-at least 5 gallon buckets, you dont want to grow in anything smaller honestly.
2-a oscaliating fan so you can keep the heat out of the room
3-nutes or what I use most people dont but it works MIRACLE GROW
but it all depends on what you want.

I am growing 6 white widow feminized and 6 random plants which im calling mystery because they were thrown in with the other seeds. They have also been growing for 8 days and they look a lot alike. They would be taller but I started with rockwool for the first time and did not use nutes in them lol. BUT IM FUCKING HYPE.

GOOD LUCK my friend.

those are nutes you just described,i dont use nutes for 3 weeks.if they are yellow then i would dig them out carefully and plant in just plain soil,im noy sure how much nutes are in your wormcastings and bat gauno, but i know bat droppings can burn young seeds, but sorry cant see the color very good even your soil looks green.

They do appear to be growing slow, you say 400w mh. they can get really hot. get a thermometer and measure temp right at the top of the plant. Also, you need a bigger pot. I use scotts soil, and the nutes in the fresh soil are fine for the beginning

i was told they would be fine in the soil thats why im using it, the color is because the light was reflecting on them, theres a couple thats def moving slow and others look fine

well if you were told by someone who has sucess with that soil makeup for seeds, then you should be good.i usually start mine in beer cups or smaller,it helps the roots form i believe because they dry out a bit, bigger pots get water logged some.

hell who knows, it seems everyone has there own system, i just wanted to know what was causing the yellow marks on the 3 plants, im going to get a little fan in there to circulate some air until i can afford the setup i want which is a carbon filtered then goes in my light and out the otherside with a inline fan being my exhaust and do i have to have a fan for my intake as well as my exhaust?

yah as long as they got sufficient room but a transplant should be done sometime. Im a freak about high temps as they greatly slow plants. you want 72-82. any higher slows growth

Thats your problem then. wait til its 4-5 inches tall to transplant. roots will already be at the bottom most likely

i was told 1 gal pots were fine but like i said everyone has something different they do, would it help if i put a fan in there, i cant afford to get a inline fan there like 100 dollars alone, what could i use instead

yeah 1 gal pot fine. Fans really help, but only recirculate the air, if your blowing 90 degree air on it the it doesn't help obviously. If your temps (which we have no idea what they are) under the plant is 85 and you blow air from out side you grow site that is cooler than this really helps

thats what pots im using, should i get a fan and rig it up out of the tent with some duct into the bottom of the tent? and then what would i get to move the old air out

lol, sry just got a new bubbler. works too well. i would get a little bigger pot if it needs it. not really an issue right now. and your duct idea sounds good, or atleast will help. you can thermometer for like 5$. thats what you do first. we wouldnt know how much it helps it unless be have a before and after temp

i will def get one tommorow and prolly a fan to push air in the tent and another fan inside the tent pointed up to move the air out
