Legitimate thoughts/facts.

Indoors

2weeks in from seed. soil. 24 hours light, then I move away from light to a dimmer spot for 20 minutes. then they get pitch black for 3-4 hours. I'm just pretty much experimenting on my 1st grow.

I didn't plan on becoming a grower. I just threw some goodgood bagseeds in my chandelier with miracle grow and I have 8 babies looking pretty sexy. using 3 normal house ceiling lights. anyways.

Legitimate thoughts/facts on 3

1
2
3 GO!

edit: 2 pairs of plants are already holding hands

will provide pictures/videos when possible

Way too many plants in one pot, and if it is a Chandelier - does it have drainage at all?
No information about lights, didn't plan on being a grower - unlikely to be providing adequate lighting.
Possibly located in Northern Hemisphere - Winter, not good for unequipped growing.

"all 8 die" sounds about right.

There is a drainage hole in the bottom

@Grumpy - that's exactly my thoughts. that's why I've been hitting the books really hard. they are looking healthy so I'm going to try to Dr.House these broads as long as I can.

@trichlone... bad idea? It was a "oh what the hell" type of operation. I didn't even expect them to sprout. but they are looking strong. solid green and growing the 3rd set of leaves. and 1 more just sprouted last night out of the dirt.

@paulie. yeah, this thread is pretty much a research thread. thats why I asked for thoughts and facts, *****my only real question was about the roots, which nobody has seemed to answer.. *****I been signed up to this site for maybe 3 days at the most and I have about 90 post.... I'm definitely doing some research. Been on here reading about 8 hours a day. I have everything I need except proper lighting (so some say) I had to ghetto rig my entire bedroom into a grow op.

They started touching my light so I had to unscrew my chandelier and transplant my seeds to a bigger chandelier... lol, I know. The New chandelier won't fit on my previous ceiling spot. So in order to keep it close to the light I had to put a table in the middle of my room with a stool stacked on it and exactly 28 world book encyclopedias stacked on the stool to have it well near the light.... I have a fan on my dresser with pretty good sized fishbowl filled with warm water in front of it for humidity and to blow on my babies a little. On the exact other side of the room in the other corner I have a heater that keeps the temp where I want it. My room is also where the Ventilation system of my house gets it's air from... So I have great ventiliation, I also have temp under control

I will be doing all I can.

P.S. I have a jumping spider living in there now that I have no idea where it came from. I live in really cold climate and.... My plants look like a bunch of pretty palm trees on a tropical space island. videos and pics soon. serious thread.

...your one pot will not give your plants much room for root space. Do away with the incandescent bulbs. Your growing in Miracle Grow, this is your first grow.....your headed for failure....again, bad idea buddy.

I just checked on them they have progressed in leafing (is that the proper term?). I feel that 4 more minutes of light then I'm going to put them in a dimmer spot for about 15-20 min before pitch black time. it's 9:38am and this light shift started at about 6:20 pm the day before.

I understand that you guys missed it twice when I said I didn't expect anything. Be positive. Don't waste my time. I don't got time for the burn-outs. High level mature people thread. I should've emphasized.

Is this a troll thread?

You are growing this in your bedroom? So, are you living with your parents?

...hahaha, your calling someone slow? ....hahahahaha. WOW! ...why the name calling?

...your using the WRONG BULBS FUCKTARD!!!
That has already been mentioned twice. You're wise.

@nlxsk1 serious thread. I've done all the research I could. I made this because nobody has ever said anything about multiple plants in 1 pot. and I've never seen anyone do it.... I ended up in this predicament. what happens. will the roots tangle? will they merge? anybody want to give some insight to their knowledge. If you don't have any. just vote on the poll and follow or leave. Or ask some questions about the plants. I'll answer everything.

the plants are looking perfectly healthy. no damage no brown. standing well and the leaves are spread nicely. I rotate the chandelier every now and then because I feel that maybe it would be better for the plants to exercise and flex it's leaves in different directions

...what your not understanding is, YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME!!!!! ...we're not wasting your time. Your grow here isn't even a good novice experiment. I'M JUST SAY'N!!!!

Ok mature advice. Buy some pots and good soil put plants in separate pots. Buy a 250 cfl and grow for a month and show use how your getting on. no need for nutes for a couple of weeks and stop insulting members of rollitup

The roots will intertwine and the plants will become inseperable. Then when you find that you have male plants you cannot remove them without killing the other plants.

One marijuana plant would easily take up all the root space in your Chandelier. Making 8 fight for the space will yield you the same or less bud for your trouble.

Many threads have been created about multiple plants per pot and it is never a good idea.

I had no time for dumbass comments. I shouldn't have called names but like I said. I have no tolerance to waste.

like I said for the 5th time. It was just whatever... I had these seeds saved up for 2 years.... I figured to just plant them somewhere, and the only light I had was my ceiling 15 seeds. 8 are out and strong. thanks for helping a little bit. but you aren't helping as those are obvious answers.

CAN YOU ANSWER THE QUESTION ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS TO THE ROOTS WHEN ALL THESE PLANTS ARE HOLDING HANDS

I thnk about 4 are possibly intertwined. 3 are for sure. I'll keep those together. the rest are decently spread out. I'll keep everybody posted on how it goes
