$800 Grow setup giveaway..for real?

Just saw this on twitter. Some new site is giving away a $800 grow setup...looks legit what do you think?

doesnt seem legit and not one persons posted.. just a ploy to get traffic to his site..

I wouldn't go for it.
His site obviously sucks because there is no new threads in any section.

Well I might check back when the giveaway is over and see if it actually happened, but i'm way too lazy and stoned most of the time to post more than a few posts a day...and i especially don't want to have to think when i do it! lol

I think your basic HTML skills are good but when building a site remember content first then build your site around that I know a good way to get your site up the goggle rankings what gives it away is your meta <meta name="keywords" content="Marijuana, hydroponic, growing, cultivation, ventilation, weed, laws, bud, seeds, odor" />

IN response to a few e-mails i have received since posting this** People might think this is just a scam to try and get traffic here. It is not. I would basically be burying ITG if i posted this and did not follow through with it, it would be pointless because the sites name would be ruined.. This site is only a few days old that is why there is not much content and only a few users.

probably cool but he said if there wasn't at least 100 people with the 150 regular posts than it won't be given away. Seems like a waste of time to me, but good luck if you decide to post there.

ya there is noway 100 ppl will have 150 posts.. bottom line, and he knows this, or at least he should.. And say u did post 150 times and there were 100 people, you still only have 1/100 chance to win anyways, how is the winner chosen? seems like nonsense to me..

Coolvibes could you put in laymans terms what you are saying with that post. I can't make any sense of it

i am saying if this was not a scam you would not add values to the start of a varible IE Ussers=96 so when it starts its count it looks like 96 visits but not as you can see in the script the add words use to tell google whats what are directed at weed growers not a site giving away free goods to get traffic IE how many cannibis users how many people wanting free gifts do you see as if our comunity is being FUKed with ???? just feels dodgey

Sorry to dig up a old thread but I didn't have net for awhile. Doesn't look like we will have a chance to see if it is dodgy or not because they are not going to have the said amount of users by the deadline. Though it looks like they are constantly improving the site and adding to it so wouldn't be too smart to waste that work with a scam.

Who in their right mind would look at that hoompty ass site and say it looks legit? Get your eyes checked.
