85W CFL vs 150W HID

I have just got this light fixture that came with a 85W CFL bulb. It has the same large screw socket as a HID.
I currently am running a 150W HID with 4x 45 W cfl's for added coverage in a small flowering cab.
Will this light be a better than the 150W HID?

I do have heat issues, and the 150W is running quite hot.
Would the 85W CFL possibly reduce the heat issues?

Any help is appretiated...

Yeah it probably has half the lumens as well so it will work, just wont give you what the HID would. Do you have enough air movement? Cause im runnin a 150w and just have an intake and an exhaust and a fan hooked up to the hood and my house temps are around 75 and its about 78 in the tent.

Dun....Hood converted to aircooled and gonna run the 150W.
You think the fibreglass will withstand the heat from the 150W?
I'm nervous about heat spots on the fibreglass casement and it being a potential fire hazzard. The hood was designed for the 85W cfl and was a sealed/waterproof unit. I have now cut a hole in the one side of the hood and i am using the hole on the otherside as a passive intake. i've fitted an extractor to the outside of my grow cab and have a short(2') pipe with no bends in it conecting to the hole i cut in the hood, pulling hot air from inside the hood outside the cab. I'm hoping this will solve the heat issues im having!

Air movement in my cab is good, just have issues with keeping the temps down. i run my lights at night, as the day time temps where i stay can be around 90. Any heat source in my cab needs to be dealt with or the plants will suffer. This is what they look like atm...WP_000268.jpg The one has major heat stress and the others are coping! i'll keep you guys updated on the heat issues with hopefully some pics of improvements.....

Damn! daily average temps for me are around 40 so im usin nature to cool my stuff on the warmer days or if we turn the heat on ill crack the window next to my cab

The fiberglass should hold up depending on hwo close to the bulb it is but you could always pull it out and bring it to a hardware store and tell em you have a window this size that you broke and theyll cut it for ya for probably 5 bucks. Wont be any fancy glass but itll work.

Here is a quick look at my new aircooled 150W HID. I'm running a MH in it atm.
WP_000281.jpgIgnor the ghetto exhaust tube(i had to get it up and running, so used pepsi bottles as they are a perfect 4" tube. I'll be replacing it with a sealed, more efficient one asap.
I've got three girls under it atm, and i'll be setting up 4x 45W cfl's today to get the coverage i need.WP_000284.jpg
