???

I just got a 3 foot plant from a friend. He said he just brought it in from outdoors. I wanna grow it indoors but the leaves are starting to droop and look like they're dying. Was thinking about switching the pot and soil. Is it a good idea? Should I let it go? Someone plz give me some insightnon what to do

Secondly, drooping leaves generally indicates that it needs watering.

I really don't know what kind it is. I will post a pic soon. Yea its my first time growing. Don't think it needs water. Ive watered it.
