ok so like people on here have said that a film canister is airtight so i put my shit in there to keep it fresh instead of the usual bag. what i wanna know is does the weed maintain its potency if its in an airtight container?

it can be cut or it can go longer if the trichs are 50% amber
i personally think they need @ least 3 weeks longer, I dont see a single dark hair on them.
They do look to be coming along nicely though.

Your gonna be extremely dissappointed when you harvest those. Buds loose so muh size and weight when they dry. Dont be deceived by the size of those nugs. I wouldnt be suprised if they needed another Three weeks to a month. Those buds havnt even started to fill out. It looks like theyve only been in full flower for about ten days. I would seriously wait man.

that's because 25% of the buds weight develops in the last 2 weeks and you haven't even hit that yet

think about what you said for a minute...Does that sound kinda dumb? Reason I ask is because it IS dumb.
How does the last 2 weeks of flowering affect how much of the bud weight disappears when you dry it @ any time?

If you cut down a plant in week 1 of flowering it will dry up to be nothing, but that isnt because it didnt get that last 2 weeks of fattening in... Thats because 50-75% of the buds are nothing but water that dissipate as moisture into the air as they dry.

im not talking about the amount of dissipation. im talking about the actual density of the bud. most of the density occuring during the last two weeks. before you start insulting people make sure you understand what they're referring to.

Where does the 9 days come from? Dude, they dont look close to being ready AT ALL! You're saying the trics are 50% amber? Aint no freakin way bro! You must be looking at them under orange light or something. Dont get all butt hurt on me now...they do look nice and your doing a great job but I am not seeing a plant that looks 9 days from harvest.

Continue on with what your doing and maybe get a better look at the trics with a white light and min of 30x jewelers loupe. Cut off a nice tric filled leaf thats close in to the bud and look at it under the scope and sunlight.

It's not nice to call ppl names honey. See, isn't that better? Especially when they're correct. The buds do gain most of their weight in the last couple of weeks. Now apologize.

that has nothing to do with the amount of weight that disappeared when the bud dried...

Everyone knows that one of the largest portions of the plant is gained during the last bit of flower, even that boob Jorge Cervantes.
I didnt call anyone here any names. I said that a statement they made was dumb.

The reason that this quoted part happened is because 50-75% of the bud is going to dry up since it is water weight. Thats all there is too it for ANY bud, no matter how long it goes. Yes it would have more weight if it went the fattening period, but that has nothing to do with this instance nor the reason that this guys quarter of bud dried up to nearly nothing.
