You will often see 5 leaves on young plants , then on the higher node, you see 7 and ++. Some people were so sure it is genetic but I say it is the condition in which that part of the leaf grow up. If you are using HID it is not supprising to see 11, even 13 blade on the top leaves.

I never got even 7 last year.... maybe two, its just kinda luck in the genetics i guess

but for real whyd you take that off, i dont think it could harm your plant

:shock:Well look at it like this you just destroyed a major producer of what your plant grows on chlorophyll.Look it up and maybe next time you'll think before you act. I'm not trying to be facecious just trying to plant some knowledge.

i know man, trust me i think before i act its got plenty more where that came from, the bottom branches will do better now that one leaf is gone -more fan leaves r getting direct light now, its going to do more good then bad. :) thanks for the knowledge

cutting off fan leaves is a bad idea no matter where they are.. NEVER is it a good thing unless the leaves are more than 50% dead....

its a better idea to tie them down if they are blocking buds.. but cutting just a few wont do much damage...
