9 strain grow journal 1000 watt, lucas formula

Hey guys! Here we go again!
My new setup includes:
2x 1000watt (1 MH, 1 HPS) HID lights
5 gallon grow bags (love them!)
Promix soilless mix
using only the MH for the first couple weeks until the stretch starts, and then I'll switch to HPS..
going to use the Lucas formula with some calmag+ and maybe some CNS17 ripe by botanicare once I see preflowers

Then I will switch to organic for the last 4 weeks of flower.
no flush, just organic till harvest

So 4 weeks of Lucas, then switching to organic till they finish.


9 strains:
Vortex by TGA
Ace Of Spades TGA
Tahoe OG Kush
Blue Cheese
NYPD
Big Bud
Nirvana Ice
Strawberry cough
OG#18
I KNOW Right?!

So needless to say I'm very excited! I've got a lot of $$ put into this grow and haven't made anything yet. I am starting to fall on hard times and need to break even off this grow. I do this for my wife who has chronic pain and for a few family members, who have severe chronic pain..
they are all on disability and can't afford meds or insurance so I got my michigan caregiver card and I'm doing this to help out, and as a hobby..
So please enjoy the ride as we see how the Lucas to organic works and as we watch all these great strains blossom!

i recently had a bad spidermite problem but thats starting to calm down thanks to the good people at npk for making the miracle product! Mighty wash!

I'm really going to shoot for 1000 grams I'd like to get some opinions,
1st choice: 1000 watt mh/hps with 8 plants.
2nd choice: 2000 watt mh/hps with 9 plants.
Would it be a waste to run 2k watts for only 9 plants or would the yeild be comparable with 1k hps?

I would go with the 1K. It doesnt look like you have enough room to run 2K of lights in that size tent.

I think your right man! Plus I don't see how 2000 watts would make a huge difference.it's not like I'll get double the yield! So I'm gonna hook my friend up with the other 1000 watt since I don't rreally
have the space or plants to run it. If I had even 5 more plants ready to flower I would keep it but that's not the case so, to my amigo it goes!

Nice setup man. Similar to mine but I'm only running 3 strains and a 600w in a tent. I'm sub'd.
