i just tied up my clone that just rooted mayb a week ago, doin fine! just be careful, the roots r fin like hair not like a seedling!

maybe try 14/10? The days are very short here and my outdoor seems to flower rite away since ive planted one outdoors in that time frame of light. I dont think alot of darkness will induce it, but stunt it.

Thanks guys for all the insight! I used some old shoestring last night along with some duck tape to keep the string down, thought it was ghetto but now that I look at din'e medicine's LST its almost exactly the same! So I tied her down last night 2 ties, one counter-tie, along with a tie to create the 90degree angle. I think I have successfully LST'd as she moved her main top towards the light and all the tops along the main stem have been pushing up towards the light! The plant is looking immaculately healthy. She is sleeping right now, I may go in and take some pictures in a few minutes for you guys!

Just thoroughly checked her out, there are some leaves that are browning on the edges what does this mean? Could it be because they were too close to the light? Or is it a nitrogen burn? I am going to get nutes today and feed her so she has a jumpstart into flowering. Other than that I feel she is doing very healthy, she started almost 4-5 new tops last night after the LST its amazing how many leaves sprouted out in a small window of time!! (4-6hours)
Check out my pictures and let me know what you guys think, I was not able to get a good enough picture of the browning on the leaves, but it is just at the very tip of the leaves it is starting to begin to brown and wilt it looks like.
News update: I germinated 3 Green Crack/Power Plant seeds last night so as soon as those pop a root, they will be potted and placed into the flowering cab to do a 12/12 from seed grow along with this LST!

Update! I fed the hungry girl, with Lowes plant food, not sure of the brand name but it was 10-15-10, i did half of what it says for 5-7.5-5 nute feeding. I also picked up some new lights! Along with my 2 68w's putting out 8400 lumens total, I added 4 40w for a total of 10,400 making a grand total of 18,800 lumens and 296 TRUE wattage. This thing is going to thrive hopefully. We have another 6 hours of dark, and then I will post pics with the new lights =)

Does the plant thrive more in the dark during LST or in the light? I have not taken it out of the dark yet to see what it has been doing I cannot wait till 11PM tonight to turn the lights on and take a peek I have been very patient

Oh yes, I do have a timer I just realized the way I worded that made it seem like I dont. But I do. Cant wait to show you guys what it looks like in there with that much wattage! Its crazy!!!!

Finally pictures pictures pictures! Holy cow! She grew a massive amount of tops as she slept!! I can see about 4-5 main colas already just over night.
There is some browning in the tips of some leaves. Is that a nute def.? I fed today with shitty nutes from Lowes 5-7.5-5 at 1 cup of 7.0pH water, hopefully she likes that. I will be getting some real nutes here soon, planning on using Advanced Nutes Big Bud and Sensi together with bat guano and earth worm castings, that will be my tea but I am not sure as to how much I will be using it and how often, if anyone has any insight on those specific details I would be more than glad to learn all about giving my baby nutes.
Other than that everything seems to be going fine, she is awake from her sleep and now will be up all night sucking in the new lights. One of my 40w'ers was DOA(Dead on Arrival), So instead I replaced it's socket with another Y-Adapter and added 2 18w 2700ks making the total now 294 true wattage. with over 18k lumens for one single plant.
PICS BELOW! (P.S. Dont mind the tie wrapped flash light it is for balance lol, my girl was like wtf do you have a tiny flash light in there for?)

Haha thanks ! Lovin the positive reply! I've got about 3 seeds germinating, I havent had good luck with seeds however. I am going to put the first seed that germs right into the 12/12 cycle the seeds are Green Crack and Power Plant so stay tuned to see some amazing 91 Chem Dog, Power Plant, & Green Crack growing all under CFL's for under 100$! Anyone got any suggestions for flowering nutes?
Edit: Oh, and P.S. at the end where there was the 2 splitters because of the light that was dead on arrival I took out all that crap that was creating unnecessary heat and replaced it with ONE 23w 6500k lightbulb to mix up the spectrum lets see how she likes that tonight! Pics in the morning! Looking for more subscribers!

I noitced you have an ionic breeze in there How does yours work for smell? Mines works a charm but I am still in veg. One day I could smell my plant withought opening my closet then the next day the smell was gone all thanks to ionic breeze. I am just curious as to how it works for flowering for you so far?

if you want an inexpensive way of amping up your grow purchase some H.O. T5's they are much much better.
