Allright so yeah I have made some changes just prior to this grow which has to be the reason for the use of A LOT MORE water. Other grows would use up 20 or 30 gal in a week. Now I am useing up that 20gal in every couple days for a total of atleast 60gal a week now. Not that I am complaining this grow is on par for being my very best grow ever. I have no problem filling my res its well worth it for these sticky monsters that are a growing great now. It the same white widow strain but they are alot more sticky and white this time as well. I'm loveing it. Did the microwave dryed sample thing yesterday (3rd week of bloom) and it blew my mind!
Ok so here is my layout..
12x12 bloom room, with this hydro system. http://www.hydroponics.net/i/273036
I have an extra brain tank and res and I have that system split up with 18 pots in each room. Bloom room has 5 600w HPS lamps and 1 600w MH and 4 50uvb flourscent bulbs, CO2 generator, ozone generator, and a bunch of Green Air Products controllers..
Possible reasons for change....
1) Added a 600w hps and 600w mh also put new bulbs in all of the old hps lamps.
2) Added the uvb lighting.
3) Switched from CO2 tanks to the generator producing a bit more PPM.
4)Plants veg'ed for an extra 2 weeks due to having to bomb the bloom room to kill mites. I cleared the room cleaned everything, let the temp in room go below freezing for most of this 2 weeks, and I bought 1500 ladybugs that pretty much all died off, replaced them with 1500 new ones and added the food sheets for them and I see them everywhere some still died but I still see bugs in there after 3 weeks now and ZERO signs of mites and a fantastic grow to boot!!
5) Added a dehumidifer and lowered my humidity to 30% instead of arround 50% where it used to hang (planning to go even lower for the last 2 weeks)
Ok so yeah I made alot of changes and these may all just add up to the plants being able to really thrive and soak up a crapload more water than before. I was just wondering what everyones thoughts were on it as to how much differance each change made or any other comments for that matter.
Thanks!!
