Hello!
First I must say that I've never seen so many guys with green fingers before, hah!

Anyway, I bought some skunk some weeks ago and by mistake it included some seeds that I decided to plant. I can't afford any kind of light and fertilizer at the moment, I might buy it some weeks from now. It's my very first grow!
At the moment they're in my window sill, they get plenty of sunlight and look healthy. My mom used to grow her own when I was younger, she said they thrive with this little care - But one thing I've learned is to NOT blindly listen to what my parents say - Which is why I ask you guys; Will they be able to grow like this? How long does it usually take before the plants are ready to harvest? What do I need to buy first, light or fertilizer or something else?

I put them on sticks because they started to bend over towards the light source. Is this a smart idea or should I take it off?

Planted May 5th.

Thank you very much!

Untie it, rotate the pot to keep the plant upright.

El-cheapo delux light system. Hardware store: 2 cheap (3 or 4 socket) vanity mirror light fixtures, a 2ft piece of dryer vent (reflector), a mix of 2700K and 6500K 23W CFL's. 2 light fixtures - $30.00, dryer vent - $10, CFL's -$30 = $70 + tax, for apx a 200W lamp.

Use a 3:1 ratio mix of CFL's, for a fuller light spectrum. Veg, 3, 6500K to 1, 2700K. Flower is the other way around. But I'd recomment a HPS for flower.

Have fun.

Your folk's are right it's a weed and if it is possible it will grow even thrive, help it along and enjoy the reward's! you don't have to spend money read all you can understand the plant's need's and want's and you'll turn out to be a real grower! Turn it daily so it stay's straight water as needed remember they don't like there feet wet....ask you mom and read all you can! If it reaches for the light and start's to get too tall try to get more light for it..when you transplant it into a larger pot you can burry some of the length of the stem to make it stronger and grow better! find small fan to move air around so the plant can breath (Co2) leave's must move slightly to help it! Watch it grow and pay attention and you will learn verry fast,62yo here....listen to ma!

Thank you very much for your answers!
These prices doesn't apply to me, I live in Denmark in North Europe where everything is expensive, I'm afraid!
I'll buy some lights next week, hopefully also some fertilizer.

Ebay International?

I got an entry level light at Ebay for a good price, just make sure you buy from a "top rated seller".
