A Bit of Ph03nix' Art

My baby sketches, draws and paints. I thought I'd throw a few up for you to check out. The first ones were the result of Ph03nix saying to the kids, "pick three animals". They are ink and pencil. Hope you enjoy.

The first is an 'Armoured Bunary', an Armadillo, Rabbit and Canary hybrid:

Next is a 'Punker'. Pig, Monkey and Tiger:

This one is a 'Tigragion', Tiger, Dragon, Lion:

This is my next tattoo. It's not a mix, just a Gryphonn. The wings will be longer/larger:

This one was done for my eldest daughter. She wanted a Flamingo combined with a veil tailed Goldfish and a Jaguar, the 'Flamishuar'. If you are wondering about the pole, my daughter is a stripper (runs her own business):

Finally, these are a couple of detail shots of one of many she has done using gel pens on canvas:

Man, they are AMAZING!!! I love them all. Much talent!!:weed::joint::weed:
Cool (Ph03nix blushes and says thanx). I posted this one in the macros thread, but I'll take the liberty and cross-post it here because it's relevent. This is one of a couple she is working on now. The circle is roughly half to 3/4 of an inch in diameter:

That gel pen art at the bottom? That was beautiful. Simply beautiful. Such amazing detail. Do you sell your works, ph03nix? I mean, I'd buy them.

Well, thanks everyone for saying such nice things about my art. I don't know what to say... you probably wouldn't have seen any of this stuff if Gryphonn hadn't whacked it up here, so you should thank him, I guess.

Now, SraGreen, I have actually thought about trying to sell some of my stuff, and will probably at least try do so sometime in the future. I have a few pieces that I could sell, but up until now it's really just been a hobby to me... I draw to keep my mind busy, that's all. Most of my work I give away to family or friends. That particular picture was done especially for someone close to me. I particularly like that one too. The photo doesn't really do it justice because it's been drawn using a number of metallic gel pens. When you shine a light over it the metallics really jump out at you. You just can't pick that up in a photo properly. I honestly don't know how long it took me to complete... only that it took weeks working on it for at least several hours each day. :hump:

As for how much I would sell something similar for?? Well, I don't know. Art is hard to value. It can only be worth what someone is willing to pay. I could put some of my stuff up for auction to get an idea of what it's worth, I suppose, but I'm lazy. At the moment I'll content myself with simply creating stuff when I'm bored. Unless of course you'd like to commission a work? Save me all that effort. LOL :blsmoke:

Anyway, I suppose I should get into the spirit of this thread... This is the painting that Gryphonn showed me working on recently. I like to do this type of thing because it's a no-brainer. All I have to think about is colours and patterns. It's done with watercolours on a 45 x 45cm (18" x 18") canvas board. I figured I should show off the finished product...

Thanx jollygreengiant8. I like her watercolours and gel stuff. The animals were just a one off bit of fun. A break from the usual.
