You'd be better off getting one of those inexpensive thermostats day/night. A/C gets cranked all the way down and the thermostat does the work.

:o :confused: Dude, you set the temp where you want it to be! Even if you set it lower. It won't get you any cooler!

What style AC?
Are the hoods cooled?
A 10K eh, I'll bet it will cool the room down to about 82, maybe 80 and then it's running continuously......If I were you, I would get a 12K minimum! See, the lights are heating air in the whole room right? In that space with a 10K, I don't think it will handle your needs..

You need to get the air moving in there too. Otherwise your going to have uneven area temps.... Temp gauge should be away from the plants and not under light hoods...This will help set a "graduated" by height set of temp zones. Trust me on this one, because for indoor growing of cannabis. This helps quality/potency! Roots cool and canopy warm...

I have a similar set-up and I use 2 440 CFM inline fans and a 3rd smaller inline fan to circulate the air and my temps stay around 75'F. One 440 CFM fan is inside with a scrubber pushing air out, another is outside of the room with a scrubber pushing air back in, and the third is at the bottom of the room pulling air inside the room. Originally I had just the 2 440 CFM fans but the room got up to 90, I put the third in and it stays around 75'F. I use 2 600 Watt HPS and a 1000 watt HPS in a 11x11 room. In a un air-conditioned building. None of the heat from the hoods is drawn out either. The third fan is underneath the canopy close to the ground.
