A couple simple questions about nutes and budding spots...

Question 1.) I use shultz cactus fertilizer, its the best NPK ratio Home Depot had to offer. It is 2-7-7. Could I use double dose and call it 4-14-14? Do nutes work that way or will I be over nute-ing it for flower?

Question 2.) Where do signs of sex usually show up first? at the cola or towards the bottom? or is it completely random?

honestly, find a hydro store , go in with money, and get the 2 1l bottles of dnf grow , and thenbloom for flowering..... itl make a world of diff... im not sure what u need from those nutes ur talking about but if ur guna , id say start like 1/4 reccomended on the bottle.... and work ur way up a few points on the tds meter each week and just wait for it buddy , if its a girl ul see the hair buddy hahah , how far are u in , usually first signs so about 10 days or so after ur 12/12 ur lights... and ul see them towards the middle inside first id imagine, maybe middle outside .... but within a few days of this point there all over , and 10 days later u see nugs form and lots og long thick white hairs

my plants seem to be taking to the nutes pretty well. I unfortunately did not start at 1/4 strength but it did not seem to effect it...seeing as it is a low 2-7-7 ratio.

I began flowering at 21 days because of light restriction, I dont want to go buy a bunch more cfl's cause I am getting a 1000w Interchangeable in a couple weeks. Also I go on vacation at the end of march and wanted to be done by then.

These plants are 6 days into flowering.(2) Big Bud and (3) Marzan-x-afghani. I am going to go from 12/12 to 11/13 tonight to try to push the buds, does that sound ok? These bitches are getting a little big and I want to cut out the males so I can transfer the CFL's to the bitches.

So really its random? they dont start at the cola all the time? Anybody else got the answer for if I double the nutes does that make it 4-14-14?

for real stick with 12/12? I heard some strains need 11/13 i also heard darking them for 36-48 hours can help push the flowering along.

u do 48 off on the last 2 days to increase thc.... did u research if ur strains need 11/13? lol the general is 12/12 because it represents fall in most countries.... so unless ur specific strain is like indiginous to alaska or the north pole or somewhere crazy lol... stick with 12/12 do u have a grow journal going , maybe u should , people like me can help u out and itd be nice to see ur setup, logic, and keep up with ur progress.... and see ur yeild one day buddy

have you ever grown before? do you have another space for flowering ??? how tall are you going to go before flowreing?

this is my 1st indoor grow. they have been in flower for 6 days. i started them all from seeds. they are about a foot tall.

I know big bud is canadian mostly so 13 off may not be so bad. I live on the canadian border we get alot of dark in winter its about dark from 6pm to 7am mid winter. I am DEFINATELY starting a grow journal on my next grow. (3 weeks or so when i get the 1000w hid). your right though dont fuck with it and leave it 12/12.
