so growing with all CFLs. would it be beneficial to pull the plants into the sun for a few hours a few times a week?
or would this cause a stretch when they are placed back under CFLS?
No good. CFL's maybe give off 4k foot candles at the most. You'll get 10k ft/candles with the sun and will burn the plant. You could introduce slowly but dramatic light level change for plants no typically a good idea.
