Go to any college town in Cali and you will see it is not flooded. Sure there are shit tons of growers, but that doesn't mean that if you have good product you won't be able to sell your bud. Prices vary HEAVILY from area to area as well. Way up in norcal (humboldt on the west and lassen on the east) it's not too far-fetch to see an ounce of chronic being sold for $100-150. Head down south to LA area, and a pretty standard price for bud is 20 a gram (This may have to do with me not knowing anyone from down south, but even when I first started smoking weed in nor cal I never payed more than $10 a gram).
I personally know a little bit about SF, I grew up there. I recommend SF over almost any city for 420 friendly people. It is literally more illegal to jay walk there than to smoke weed. Cops will not do anything to you if you smoke. If you have your card, growing is legal as well. The local law enforcement and DA have actually said that they try to protect medical patients from the feds so patients can get their medicine. Thank you Kamala Harris. You will NEED roommates to support yourself at first. San Francisco's minimum wage is around $10 an hour. Do not live in the ghetto of San Francisco, sure it's not as bad as any other city's ghetto (they moved most of their ghetto to Oakland), but you will be living in a shit hole, why would you want that? There is a lot of good bud in San Francisco, most people just go to the clubs and spend $40 on an eighth. Out of towners will spend $60 on the same eighth, not realizing that clubs just give the same weed a more exotic name and charge it up the asshole. If you grow chronic, and show it to a club, they may try to haggle with you, but the bottom line is: chronic sells and you will get business. Hell, my local paper yesterday had clubs saying they were accepting bud from vendors and growers.
New clubs pop up in California pretty frequently. So don't get discouraged if some clubs do not want your bud, a new club will show up in your area in a month or two.
