Ok my girls a day before the chop only coz the wife dont want Couch lock :(
Will post more tomorrow after trim
That plant has weeks to go for any decent high. Once the white pistils go red/orange/brown at least 75% than start checking trichomes and chop when they are mostly cloudy/milky. That is your highest thc level.

When you go even longer than that is when the trichomes start to degrade and turn amber. That is the thc breaking down and turning to cbn. Which is not psychoactive and mimics a "couch lock".

There are layers of calyx growing on top of each other. All of them have trichomes going through this cycle. And the trichomes on the leaves show maturity earlier than the ones on the bud.

The trichome guide is only part of knowing when a plant is done. The pistils turning in is the first indicator.

Your wife will get a speedy uncomfortable buzz from the thc precursors in the immature little trichomes and then likely a headache soon after.

And you are stuck with it too for your hard work.

Good luck. My woman doesn't tell me what to do in my work and I don't tell her how to do hers.
