Hey guys i noticed my plants got a lil nute burn. i checked the PPM and it spiked to 1350 from 1200... so it means they are trying to withdraw nutes from thier storage.. i reduced to 950.

Will this hurt the flowering period?

dude as plants flower they use up the nitrogen in older fan leaves...thus making them a lighter shade of green...i think your plants look good....then again im no pro...so listen to them!

I dont think you have nute burn...its the lack of N in your flower food....not a problem...if you want you can add some N to the flower food to get the color back..but its very common to have the leaves get lighter in flower stage

I dont see any nute burn. I see no burnt anything. I know they are yellow, but I believe that is because they are sucking up all the nitrogen from the plants. What kind of nutes are you using?

I think those nutes are good actually. But I am concerned. You may have to supplement some Nitrogen to them if the hairs aren't turning yet. But I don't know. I'm 31 days in and I havn't had my fan leaves turn yellow yet, but my hair (only a few) are turning brown now though. I think if you were to give it some nitrogen it would keep your leaves alive so that they could funnel the nutes to the calyxs......BUT I DONT KNOW. You should find an expert and ask. I dont think the nitrogen would hurt your buds......but ask around.

I use foxfarm products and i know on the feeding schedule it has us use the Grow Big (for veg) 2 weeks before the plants fully mature, I can only guess this is to replenish the nitrogen. I don't think it would hurt it being such a low dose of nitro. I don't think it would harm the buds either. You might want to start a thread about it, get some more answers.

your ppm will rise because your plants use different amounts of water and nutes and different times.so if the plant uses a half gal. of water and your ppm was 500, and you check it the next day and it is 700 that is why.because it used more water then nutes.

That is true! My res. PPM rise up constantly so i have to top off with water to keep it at the right level. But you should also do a full water change every 2 weeks or so... If you find that your ppm bounce too quickly your best bet is to get a bigger reservoir.
