A loose Bull in the pasture (Male in my flower box)

Hey all-

Been dying to create a new strain and gather some seeds, I just discovered I have a male Big Bud in Veg (after testing a clone in the flower box). This is the best news EVER! If interested, I can post pictures and a day-to-day update? Now I can pull a male clone at any point and CROSS!

yea man that be cool. What is the big bud gonna be crossed with?

whats the structure look like? any smells when stem is rubbed? any resin? indy or sativa dom. ? or just any old male will do?

Here are the strains I have available:

Big Bud
Super Skunk
Pine Sol
Master Kush
Tahoe OG Kush
Abusive OG Kush
Purple #1
Triple X
Pineapple Chunk
Purple Romulan
Diablo

PLEASE chime in here and let me know your thoughts. Are any of these strains that stand out that would compliment the beautiful traits of Big Bud?

Big bud is a very stable strain and excellent for chucking pollen.
I had some big bud x trainwreck that was amazing.

I imagine you are going to selectively pollinate buds?

In my opinion, when you cross stable strains the male will be a bit more dominant in the traits. I can't back this up with anything but my limited experience.

If they are both stable varieties the seeds should make plants that are about:
50% a mix of the two plants
25% that take after the dad
25% that take after the mom

Even with two stable strains the first cross could be a bit of a crap shoot.

I have made seed crops in the past and am basing my opinions on that.
I have my last fem seed crop in my signature. I am about to start another one with A-Train x A-Train.
They just popped last night.
