A MASSIVE oversight in my grow plan

I have 2 SLH and 1 acapulco gold currently happy vegging away in the corner of my room and moving into flower in about a month but i was sitting browsing carbon filters and i realised a MASSIVE oversight in my plans

for a carbon filter to work air needs to be passed over it but i have to turn my fan off at night. so my question is do plants give off as much smell in dark periods as light periods ??

also any tips for odour control without airflow would be HUGELY appreciated

why do u have to turn your fans off?

ozone is only safe if you can vent the dirty air to another room, scrub using the ozone, then vent that to the outside. You and your plants dont want to be anywhere near an active ozone generator.

ozone is dangerous, leave your fans on of possible, my freinds and I use ona gel in a closet grow it works fine cant smell nothing but clean clothes smell

Yeah, don't use ozone if you're not venting outside at the time... Maybe a deionizer?

Or just turn the fans off at night and let the carbon filter scrub the air when they turn back on in the morning.

get some ona gel for at night? but you really do need to keep a fan on during the dark for circulation, otherwise your humidity will sky rocket at night and youll get bud rot/mold.

do a search on ozone toxicity. It is a toxic substance, and doesn't take a lot over a long term to cause respiratory issues. these typically happen after a long time of exposure, so even running one for years doesn't tell you if you are safe or not. The levels found to cause issues are rather low. It will also burn your plants. Ozone should ALWAYS be introduced in a vent that empties outside.

ok i know about the toxicity, but thats if you keep it running 24/7, and you don't have to put it right beside the plants. just in the same room, but like i said i keep my on a timer. Also it is more toxic to you than the plants so you don't go in there while it running. this dosen't help this guy. you don't need to grow in your room you grow in grow room/lab. just one question, what kind light are you using?

Go buy a jar of pickles, open the jar and leave it in with ur plants. I have never personally done this but know people who have an it works great for very verg small grow ops

People are going to look at you funny if you walk around smelling of dill pickles all the time.

It works similar to febreeze, except febreeze actually smells decent.
